Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Santa Croce, Florence

5 Stars all the way. From the very start, Max was at the apartment to personally greet us and explain everything. The apartment is 500 years old - and is perfect. Location is great - a few minutes from Ponte Vexxhio, with so many restaurants around. Firenze is a dream city! When tired from so much walking, we went back to the apartment for a little rest - the kids loved it as well. Thank you Max for everything!

Daniele, the apartment, the location.. all great! Being earplugs though, as the Florence streets stay loud after dark. Daniele was a very helpful host and went above and beyond- I would stay here again next time I'm in Florence!

What an incredible experience. Marco goes above and beyond to make sure that the stay is a 5 star. Always did in communication and I really feel that I was home. The apartment is super comfortable and the dedication and guest service that Marco provides is amazing. Always taking care of everything, giving advice in regards to where to go and what to do. What a fantastic experience. If I would have the opportunity to extend the stay at Marco's apartment, I would definitely would do it. But have to return to work. I will definitely will book another trip to Florence and will contact Marco again. Marco ensures that all the details are in place. Marco is a super start and deserves the Airb&B award . Matteo’s Airbnb was great! We stayed for 2 nights, it was very clean everything was walking distance. Matteo was very friendly, responsive and flexible with all my questions! Definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The location was quiet and peaceful with great access to Florence by train. Marco is an excellent host. He was always responsive and helpful and had a notebook with all the information we could ask for. He welcomed us with a very nice regional wine and biscotti. Everything we needed was in the accommodation. The town had nice restaurants, shops, and a great market on Saturday. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to visit Florence and Tuscany.

Lapo’s apartment is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The terrace and the view are fantastic. The bed is firm which is perfect for us or anyone with back problems. We like to walk and we didn’t have a car and really enjoyed walking down to the town square and cafes and restaurants in 15 minutes - going back up the hill about 20 minutes. If you are not fit you may need a car but also taxis and Uber are available. We recommend walking and hiking around Fiesole with beautiful views to see everywhere.

Elisabetta went above and beyond our expectations from personally meeting us at the apartment to providing a welcome basket full of wine and treats for our stay. We especially loved having a washing machine available. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated. And you just can’t beat the location! We walked everywhere. Many gelato shops and restaurants nearby as well as an awesome leather shop.

If I could give it 100 stars, I would give it to you. Alessandro is one of the best hosts I have had in my Airbnb experience, he is friendly, quiet, and there is always something for his guests in the kitchen. The response time of his messages is short, he is always attentive to his guests and gives very good recommendations to visit near Casalguidi or with ease to get to/from there. The house is clean and the photos match the listing. Thank you for everything Alessandro!

We spent 10 days in July 2024 at this listing with our two children aged 4 and 6. We share feedback from previous reviews. We really enjoyed the house and especially the large and beautiful garden without vis-à-vis, entirely for us. Elisabetta, traveling during our stay, was available to answer our questions and welcoming. We easily visited all the surroundings, while enjoying at the end of the day the swimming pool of the neighboring campsite on the other side of the road, easy to access and quiet. We were able to alternate sightseeing and activities for children (tree climbing, camping pool, games in the garden, games in the cottage...etc.). We loved using the solar shower in the garden in the sunset. Finally, it is true that traffic on the neighboring road disrupts, especially in the morning and evening, the general calm, but you finally get used to it. And, above all, the excellent services of the accommodation make up for that!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paola Giovanna’s lovely home. Paola and her whole family were welcoming, warm and helpful. We really enjoyed an Italian cooking class with Paola’s grandson, Thomas! We also enjoyed wine tasting at Paola’s neighbour, Buondonno. This residence truly provided an exceptional Tuscan experience!!

We two newly retired people rented the house for a whole month and enjoyed it very much. Since we had our own car and would love to go around and look around, it was no problem getting to different interesting and beautiful surroundings. On foot it is quite steep to the village and in the surroundings, but it is outweighed by the amazing view. We thought it was a very functional house. The kitchen was wonderful to work in, and when we had another couple visiting for a week, it was so good with several bedrooms with a private bathroom and on two floors. Spacious around the dining area and kitchen, nice terrace and secluded from the neighbor in the same house, who kindly received and showed us the house when we arrived.

We loved our time at this rustic Tuscan property tucked up under the Castello di Poppiano. It is a large private space with tremendous views. The weather was not optimal for us so we didnt get a chance to stroll through the landscape but were delighted when the cats made an appearance for us. Sara met us to introduce us to the property and did a great job getting us acclimated. We were very comfortable here and the location allowed us to maximize our time in Tuscany and get to the experiences we were looking to have over a 4 day span. The only criticism is that the interior lighting is not very bright and often times was darker than we would would have preferred but that was only a minor concern.

We spent some nice autumn days at Francesca's place. It's much nicer than it's pictured. The house is fantastically and quietly located on a hill. The amenities are high quality and Francesca was always available at short notice. We would definitely go on vacation there again.

Absolutely gorgeous property, modern amenities and ample space for a group of people. Matteo was great at communicating and helped us greatly with check-in. The walk to Florence’s town center is a bit long but easily done, great access to stores and food. The only small note is one bedroom faces a busier road and the noise may disturb light sleepers. Thanks for a great stay!

I had a great time in the apartment and above all with Patrizia, a wonderful person,responsive in my responses and available for any type of information! The apartment and the location in which it is located are really excellent, I will definitely come back and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Florence, you move very easily:)

we had the best experience at Federico's place which is really few meters away from ponte vecchio (which means you have the chance to pass by it everytime you come back from the over side of the river). all the city's attraction are accessible by walking. the arrival was well managed, with all needed instructions. would come back here and recommend for sure !

Our stay at Villa Le Pergole was amazing. The Villa was the true essence of Tuscany. Though the beauty and history was amazing, the best part was Anna. She is such a kind host going above and beyond to make our experience magical. She helped us navigate the city, provided a cosy, relaxing space, and made us feel completely at home. It is possible to get to Florence by walking to the bus and/or tram. We highly recommend Anna's home!
