I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful duplex bungalow called BIROTI, nestled in the serene Aamar Bari. Although it’s about 5 km from the bustling center, the peaceful surroundings, adorned with blooming flowers, truly make it a hidden gem. The bungalow itself felt like a safe haven, beautifully decorated and inviting. It features two cozy bedrooms, each with its own adjacent bathroom. The first floor boasts two lovely balconies—one that overlooks the charming front yard and the other that opens up to a picturesque view of the backyard and endless farms. While I adored every aspect of the place, I did notice that a little extra dusting would enhance the overall experience, as it felt a tad dusty in some areas. One of the highlights for me was the backyard, where we got a bonfire arranged that created a warm, magical atmosphere on a chilly winter night. Eight of us went to Perch, Goalpara in Shantiniketan. A peaceful, well maintained 2 storey homestay amidst beautiful nature. Mahua is a great host and Debnarayan, Shibani and their family took great care of us. Food prepared fresh on “matir unun with kather jaal” was delicious. We plan to re visit soon!

I had an excellent stay at Subrato’s property in Santiniketan. The serene and peaceful environment made it a perfect getaway. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional care and warmth provided by Mary, the host’s assistant. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, guiding me with local tips and taking care of every detail with great dedication. The property was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Subrato’s thoughtful hospitality and Mary’s attentive service made this visit truly memorable. I highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Santiniketan and look forward to returning soon!

great place to stay and rest. accessibility is the only issue. we have to arrange for transport or own a vehicle. otherwise great place to stay, house was very good.

Dui Pakhi was just what I needed—a peaceful spot away from the crowds but still close to all the key places you’d want to visit in Shantiniketan like the Sunday Haat, the university area, Amar Kutir, etc. Ujjaini was super accommodating, even letting me check in early, and she was always around to answer my questions. Hasan and Meena made sure everything was taken care of. Meena always had my meals ready on time, and Hasan was there with his toto, helping me explore and tick off everything on my list. The house is beautifully curated, the bed is comfy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the powerful shower in the bathroom. Ujjaini was lovely to chat with, offering great recommendations, and even invited me for a 'luchi and shaada aloo' breakfast with her family. She’s such a warm host, and with Hasan and Meena, they’ll go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. If you’re considering this Airbnb, don’t hesitate—Dui Pakhi is a gem that promises a memorable experience. :)

The moment we checked-in to the Stone House we felt right at home. The house as well as the surrounding was very beautiful. Everything was so well maintained and clean. The caretaker Mr. Santosh Hazra was very helpful in everything and the food was delicious. All in all it was a memorable stay. We would definitely recommend to everyone and would like to come back again.

The house is actually within the vicinity of Viswa Bharati. We reached pretty late at night, but the owner Siddhartha was so warm and generous the whole time. He came to pick us up... guided us to the house. He has also arranged for our dinner for which he didn't take a penny. It's the gesture that matters after all and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay... It was great!We would love to stay there again!
