Lake house holiday rentals in Saratoga Lake

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

Our team had an incredible stay for our Staff Workshop! The house was absolutely beautiful, providing the perfect setting for a productive and relaxing retreat. Katie was an amazing host—so accommodating and attentive to our needs. We truly appreciated her hospitality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Beautiful place on the lake. House was lovely, clean, comfortable beds, beautiful views from inside and the back screen porch. Plenty of outdoor seating and a nice fire pit for use. Chris was a very attentive and responsive host!

Mike and Stacy were fantastic hosts! Their home was even better than the pictures and they thought of every detail to make it feel like you were staying at your very own vacation house. They leave you with a list of local attractions and were extremely responsive to every message and question we had. We will absolutely be hoping to stay here again in the summer to enjoy the lake some more!

My family and I had a terrific stay at this beautiful home. Olga was fantastic, always responsive if we reached out and very helpful. The home was even more beautiful and breathtaking when we first walked into the house than we could have imagined! The home was spacious and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed waking up early to work for a few hours overlooking the lake and the beautiful view of the sunrise, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while everyone else was still sound asleep in the comfortable accommodation. The sunset was even more stunning. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

Very peaceful! Space was comfortable and it was nice to have a relaxing getaway and take a step back from work. Can’t wait to book again in the summer and take full advantage of what the lake has to offer! Lauren was an excellent host and very communicative.

Four of us stayed here for a long weekend and had an amazing time. Easy drive into Saratoga and we enjoyed the outdoor space with amazing lake views and enjoyed nights in the hot tub. I would definitely recommend the place to friends and family

From start to finish Zoe was very responsive and accommodating. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and neat. The bedding was very comfortable. We cooked a dinner and a breakfast and the kitchen was stocked well enough to make both these meals easy.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot for our weekend get away! Perfect space for our family to relax and enjoy the area. The hosts were very accommodating and communicated well. We were in town to visit our son at RPI but wanted to try a different location and this one was awesome. We will be back and will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy the area even more.

The house was a great place for my father, brother, and brother in law to stay at. We were able to fish from the docks and took the kayaks out to do the same. The house was very clean and had a number of options available for things to do and places to hang out, including the screened in deck, lawn space with lawn chairs and fire pit, and room above garage with pool table and other games. Air conditioning everywhere was more than welcome! Golfing within 30 minutes or less at some fun courses. I would recommend for any groups of guys looking for a fun outdoor getaway week!

The property was perfect-steps away from the lake, clean, organized, had everything you could want. Better than the pictures!! The hosts were great-giving us recommendations of local places and very specific information for parking and the dock. Would for sure look to return to the proposal again.

Stephen is a fantastic host with a great spot overlooking the lake. We traveled with three kids under 4 and were very comfortable and welcomed very warmly. Anything we needed or needed to know, Stephen provided and then some. We all cant wait to come back! Thanks, Stephen and Co!

This was a quant place with a personable host. Peter was very responsive and thorough. I would recommend this house to anyone staying in Albany!

this is a very nice place up in the woods. there are neighbors,so it is not secluded. but it is off the beaten path. the home is very charming with original fixtures. I especially liked the kitchen and bathroom. don't get me wrong. The beds were very comfortable and cozy.. we got the first snow of the season (14 inches) and the down comforters were great! we didn't lose power, but it was nice to lay in bed and watch the snow fall outside the window. great stay!

This is our second visit to the property as it is located near elderly relatives we travel to visit. It has a wonderful character yet all your modern "needs" are met. We especially enjoy that the bedrooms are on the second floor so those who want to stay up late aren't disturbing the early-to-bed folks. We had a major snowstorm during our stay and the driveway was cleared and the steps salted to assure our safety.

Our group had a wonderful stay at the barn house! Plenty of space for everyone including the kids and dogs (especially loved how dog-friendly the home was)! The house was thoughtfully stocked, clean, and super comfortable. Very peaceful setting, lots of wildlife - we loved watching a couples of foxes play in the yard in the early morning. And the fire pit is a great evening spot. Thank you Jennifer and Aaron for your hospitality!

Nana's place on the lake was just what we were looking for: A quiet, warm, cozy and homey spot with a deck and a view. The Hot Tub added to the enjoyment of the stay and was well cared for and clean. Chris was very accommodating and was quick to remove/manage the snow during our stay. Enjoyed watching the ice fishers work their craft and people walking the ice of the lake. We saw just one snowmobiler running around on the lake and that was just for a short time. Everyone on this lake seems very respectful and in tune with the mellow vibe. I hope we get the chance to return when the weather is warmer to play in the water.

Michele was a very gracious host. She was very communicative and very considerate. Her home was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. She also had everything we needed and everything was labeled in her kitchen which I thought was so cute. Her drawers and cabinets were much more organized than mine. :) She also left some goodies for us to take home and for our little cockapoo to enjoy while at the house. Theo loved his little blanket and toy. Thank you. The view of the river was beautiful and the location of the home was close to Saratoga Spring and Lake Placid which we visited. We are definitely interested in coming back in the summer. I would highly recommend Michele's home. Thank you again!

It was a great place to stay!!! It was comfortable and clean. You have to either drive to water or be able To walk a very big hill. There is a dog next door that will bark if anyone gets up very early so that may be a negative if you have young kids that may wake. It's a large dog so very Loud bark, it did wake the kids in the home but there is only so much you can do about these things. There are no cleats (well one small one) on the dock but there are some Pillars if you have a large boat, I believe the dock is more for kayaks and small Boats but my 25 ft tritoon fit. The owner is very responsive and helpful. It's a way to be on the water in a private setting. The downstairs owner is very very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back! Well worth it.

Visited for a family reunion and Grandma’s 90th birthday. We selected this location because it was walking distance from my Grandma’s house. Location is great, peaceful, and nice neighborhood. The music school practices and you can sometimes hear it across the lake. There’s also a beach down the street. The place is huge! Enough for a family of 5. Can easily do a family of 8-10. All our requirements were met, and our hosts were very helpful. The only thing to consider is that you are in the woods! So there are a lot of outdoor friends (mainly spiders and ants) around the premises. Not a big deal. We left without any bug bites.

My husband and I and a friend had a wonderful vacation staying in Kevin (Hapi)'s beautiful home on the Great Lake Sacandaga. The house was beautiful and spacious. The screened in porch was perfect for having meals or just looking at the gorgeous view of the lake. Much thought had been put into making sure the house had everything one could possibly need, including beach towels and all those little essentials. The house was within a very short walking distance of the main street in Northville, a quaint town with a great five and dime and a couple of excellent restaurants. There is a wonderful, sandy beach just two minutes away where we could swim and put our canoe and kayak in the water. Kevin (Hapi) was an excellent host, very responsive, very welcoming and encouraged us to feel at home. This was a very nice experience, we had a really good time, and I highly recommend Kevin (Hapi)'s place!

Allan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and recommended things to see and do. We had noticed one of the chairs in the kitchen had a leg coming about, I sent Allan an email with a picture. He answered right back and let us know that his wife would bring another chair over to replace the broken one. The home was very clean and homey. I would stay there again and I do recommend the place. DP

We enjoyed our family stay at this location. We visited in the winter - the house was warm and felt very solid. There were a lot of things for the kids to discover in the house and plenty of room to strech out. Hosts were very reasonable and accommodating.

Quiet place on a beautiful lake. No complaints!
