We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

Place was immaculate. Had everything and more. Enough silverware, plates, and cooking equipment. Towels galore, even bigger ones for the hot tub. Couldn't have been happier. Thans Vince.

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

This 4 bedroom 4 full bathroom home was PERFECT for our couples trip ( there were 4 couples total)! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the location on the water and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows made it the perfect place to relax and look out at the lake. I had a couple of questions before we went to the house and they were so responsive and helpful. It's 8 minutes away from a Meijer so anything we forgot was easy to go get. But honestly, once we got comfortable and into the house we didn't want to leave. It was exactly what we were looking for and we loved it!

The cabin is nestled on a little slice of heaven in a private, forest setting. A ‘deer-family’ visited us frequently. Ample amenities. We didn’t realize that the ‘unattached-second bedroom/sitting room’ was ours to use until later in the trip because we didn’t realize what the unmarked ‘extra key’ opened. The cabin is small, but for two adults and a dog, it was quaint, cozy, clean, and adequate. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners everyday. The dog and the evening storms kept us in at night. The roads were easy to navigate and we spent a lot of time playing in South Haven, Saugatuck, and Fennville. The lakeshore overlook was a bit scary with a dramatic and steep drop-off so if you had young children or a rambunctious dog (oh wait?! That was ME!), be forewarned. Otherwise, the view was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Tremendous stay with great hosts. The natural setting on the bluff, private beach, and sunsets were spectacular. So peaceful, we absolutely loved it.

My family and I had an excellent stay. Condo was clean, stocked with kitchen and laundry supplies and beach chairs. Has a beautiful view and can hear the waves crashing in the distance. Very close to the pool, beach snack shack and Bunde’s. We will definitely we coming back.

I’ve rented a number of places in this area and Riverdance was very special! The home was clean and well appointed with all you need. Location awesome - everything we like to do (downtown Douglas, downtown Saugatuck, Oval Beach and hiking trails) was 10 mins or less alway. Kitchen well appointed. The star was the pool and we enjoyed it so much! A pool with no fencing between the pool and the river - that is rare and GOLD! Todd was great to deal with and very responsive. Great property, great stay!

We had a great time at the Chalet. It was comfy and had a lovely view of the frozen lake. We went in February so didn’t spend much time at the beach but it would be a lovely place to visit in the summer. The view was truly incredible. The host were very responsive to questions. We always got an answer within about 15 mins. The bed was nice and comfy and I had everything I needed in the kitchen to make a simple chicken and veggie dinner. We would definitely recommend this spot for a winter or summer getaway.

My husband & I rented this gem for a week. The condo is spotless, kitchen has many amenities, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and we loved it! We loved being right on the water/ beach and close to town. Highly recommend this adorable condo.

The place is super cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and the area is quiet and peaceful. I felt safe and right at home as I was here for an extended stay! I 100% recommend!

Best in South Haven! I lived in South Haven every summer during my childhood and this condo was the best of what South Haven has to offer.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Ben's chalet! The location can't be beat, with 2 small private beaches just steps away, restaurants within a few minute drive and downtown St Joseph only a 15 min drive away. When we arrived the chalet had not been cleaned (miscommunication with his cleaning crew), but I messaged Ben and he promptly had someone come out to clean the property and refunded us our cleaning fee. Also the view from the back deck at sunset was breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this chalet!

Host was very responsive. The space was really big and the master bed was comfortable. The second bedroom was attached through a shared sitting room. For a Winter stay it was warm and could only imagone how much fun this stay would be in the Summer.

Cute cottage on the lake! House was clean and well maintained. Heat worked well and the backyard was very nice!

Doug was a fantastic host and the ice house was a fabulous place to stay. Very nice lake and having boats accessible was the cherry on top - fishing on the lake was great fun and having south haven close by is a plus. We stopped at the local farm stands and had delicious local produce. We will return to this great getaway

The house was right on the lake shore with private woods to the South. Unfortunately, as described, there is not direct access to the beach/water below due to shoreline erosion. However, the view was incredible, the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with necessities, and the location was well located between South Haven and Saugatuck.

Whispering Sands on Lake Michigan is a spacious, beautiful home in a lovely setting. The views of Lake Michigan are amazing! We were a family of 5, but the house is very large and would accommodate 8 easily. The master bedroom has a very large attached bath and wonderful lake views. There are multiple gathering spaces indoors and out for lots of privacy. Our adult children loved the kayak and the sandy beach. The photos seem to be taken in winter and do not do justice to the wonderful trees and greenery which surround this home! I can't imagine a more gorgeous home on Lake Michigan!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

This fabulous place exceeded our expectations! Lake Michigan was as gorgeous as we imagined, but the house matched it! The hosts thought of literally anything and everything a guest might want or need. I cannot recommend this airbnb highly enough. Holland is an adorable town and this is the best homebase to enjoy the incredible view and get away from it all. Be sure check out the local farmer's market and then create your feast in the well-stocked kitchen. Will definitely be back!

The view is beautiful! The cozy, family feel always works for us. We felt right at home. Plenty of room to be together but also have alone time if you so choose. The singing birds were beautiful, the visiting swans and ducks were fun to watch! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and pier! Its truly a relaxing place. Although we rarely go to the same place each summer, we would visit again. Hosts were accomodating, kind and welcoming! Thank you for sharing your home and giving us a place to make wonderful memories!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful, easy to get to, ready for our use. We used the beach, the docks, the decks and the inside was big enough for the family. The house had everything that we needed for the weekend, inside and out. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The only downisde were the number of steps, but that was clearly worth it.
