Holiday rentals in Saxton

From the moment we walked in to the place we were right at home! Mostly "Lodgey" decor with a few eclectic pieces thrown in to the mix! Fantastic watching all the deer and turkey and other wildlife. The scenery is gorgeous even with the line of windmills over on the next ridge. Lots of unique dining opportunities in the area. Already looking forward to a warmer weather visit ! The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

Fenced in backyard was perfect for our pups. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Great location and excellent hosts!

Perfect 2 bedroom apartment! Workspace is perfect size for those that need to do some work while traveling! Each room is a good size so you never feel cramped! Having a separate room for dining, kitchen and living room really made it feel like a home!! Will definitely plan to stay again the next time I come to the area!

Amazing place - highly recommended! Beautiful grounds, huge inside space, peaceful, and so much fun! Inside: Modern kitchen, brand-new-looking cabin style, comfy furniture (and beds), and even a huge basement with indoor cornhole, a pool table, and lots more! Outside: GORGEOUS. Huge firepit with chairs, a great hot tub, a nice grill, and surrounded by some gorgeous wooded land that is very hike-able. We spent an entire day just sitting around the fire, and it was well worth it! Overall, 100% I'd recommend it, and I'm sure we'll stay there again. One note is that it's about 30-40min from a good-sized grocery store, so I'd recommend grabbing your groceries on the way there, as opposed to having to head back out once you get there. Amazing - thanks for letting us stay there!

We had an amazing stay at Patty’s place! The house is situated in a nice, quiet area, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Patty was one of the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The house itself was incredible, with awesome amenities that truly made it feel like a home away from home. Patty went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—even arranging for someone to plow after a big snowstorm, which was a thoughtful touch. Everything was set up perfectly to help us relax and not worry about a thing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend.

Loved the snug! Perfect for a weekend getaway! Host was responsive and accommodating to our needs as guests! The place was cute and clean, and super close to Raystown lake. Definitely recommend. We plan on staying again.

They have thought of everything, games, chargers, extra blankets and towels, men’s and women’s basic toiletry needs. Kitchen was equipped with everything including spices and seasonings for cooking to extra little pastas, and eats just in case, coffee for the coffee pot, filters, sugar, like everything is there! So tasteful and comfy. The perfect weekend to reconnect, unwind, and not stress or think. Just what we needed! Beautiful property! Will stay again!

We occasionally come to this area to visit family, we have stayed at Jim and Perci's 3 times and have been completely satisfied every time. Wonderful stay and wonderful hosts.
