Very clean, tastefully decorated. Nice landlady. Area very nice and quiet. Lots of mosquitoes that can be expelled with mosquito spray and candles! Windows had all the mosquito nets, which was great. It had some bikes, unfortunately partly in poor condition. Initially the village helpful gas station that offers bicycle service. The long sandy beach almost empty at the end of October, beach cafe still open, pizzeria original and very delicious. We had a great stay!

The house was very nicely furnished with comfortable couch and beds. The host was very responsive and addressed any of our needs. The house is remote from town so a car is needed.

Since our arrival, we were greeted with great kindness by Judith, who made our stay even more pleasant. The house is a real gem, full of light that fills your eyes and heart. The huge windows let the sun in, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in every room. The furnishings and decorative objects are simply wonderful, with details that make every corner unique and fascinating. The house is in the heart of the Sassi so you really feel a part of daily life there. This was by far our favorite airbnb on our 7 week trip around Italy. We were three adults and it was a luxury to have two full ensuite bedrooms. Beautifully decorated and well stocked with lots of extra touches like individual heating and cooling units in each room. It was the home of Giuseppe's family when he was a boy so he knows its history.

It is 10 minutes by car from Matera city, so it is a good location for car travelers who want to rest quietly. It was also nice for us to be able to park safely and for free in the accommodation, and the accommodation was very cleanly maintained and the interior was well decorated. Emilia was very accommodating to us.

Beautiful property in a lovely town, very helpful host

I stayed in Stefania's apartment for the second time after four years. It is a perfect nest in the middle of the sensational old town, the Sassi of Matera. Very quiet location with an almost fairytale view of the old district and the gorge on the outskirts. A special highlight is the large terrace. Here you can read wonderfully under the umbrella, laze or drink an apero (except at lunchtime. Then it's too hot even under the umbrella). The apartment is conveniently furnished. If you don't need a lot of luxury, Stefania will certainly feel comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pietro and Valeria’s Airbnb in Matera! The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated, with such thoughtful attention to detail that made us feel right at home. They even left us a generous selection of treats, which was such a sweet touch! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of Matera, making it easy to explore this stunning city. Pietro and Valeria were kind and attentive hosts, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Matera!

Matera was one of my bucket lists. Luciano's house was one of the best accommodations. I can really recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Matera. His house is so much better and exactly the same as the pictures on the homepage. It's located in the heart of town and you can get everywhere in 10-15 minutes. When we got to Matera, he was waiting for us and explained all the ways to enjoy the city. One more thing: if anyone gets there with a car, don't worry about the parking lot. I really appreciated being able to stay in his house.
