Holiday rentals in Schachnern

We were super happy with this accommodation, close to Wildkogel Arena and Zillertal. Lucy has been great, and we could not have wished for a better place to stay for our ski vacation! Thank you!

Very lovely stay. Felt right at home. Very spacious and the kitchen had everything to cook. Definitely recommend. Great view and close to town with a bus station across the street.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We had a great stay at Chalet Franzi. From the moment we made the reservation untill we left, Ernst was very quick and friendly in his responds. It felt very trustworthy. The chalet is even better than the pictures. Its big enough for 4 adults, its cosy, warm, the kitchen has everything you need. It has some cartgames which we used every day. and the view from the windows is pretty. looking out on the Mountains. The chalet is very close to the slopes. even if there is not enough snow, you can walk to it, max 5 min walk. When we arrived, Ernst was waiting to greet us with snapps and his warm personality. He even helped us unload and told us about the chalet and the Village. the Village is small and has a supermarket, restaurants and a Bakery. From the town, you can also go to Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein in around 15 to 20 minutes. also very pretty to walk around and ski. Thank you very much Ernst. We had a lovely ski holiday.

the place was really beautiful facing the lake with the view of the mountains.. took a lot of pictures and I really loved that the place was super clean and the bedsheets too. Everything that you will need they have it.. if you want to cook like what we did, they almost have everything from the pans in different dimensions to the water boiler .. the water from the sink is drinkable though we did not drink from there. They also have detergent for your laundry. We really enjoyed our stay. Host was really nice and very accomodating. Restaurant, bar and supermarket are really accessible for they are just around the corner. It's also nice to walk around the neighborhood and around the lake 🤍 we hope to be back.
