Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Schaffhausen District

We had a nice and peaceful stay at Irene's place at Nohl. As listed, the apartment had all amenities for our stay. The apartment is clean and would meet your expectations. With walkable distance to both Rhein Falls and Dachsen railway station, from where one could take the train and reach Zurich within an hour, the apartment is aptly located. We would also recommend Irene's place for your stay in Nohl.

Matthias' house is spacious, nicely decorated, and looks even better in real life than on the photos. It's situated a few mins walk from the forest, and many hiking trails which is a bonus for nature lovers like me. The Rhine Falls is also about 10 mins walk on foot from Neuhausen city center. Matthias is super friendly and easygoing, gives great advice and tips on the Schaffhausen area, hiking trails, things to do around. The kitchen, bathroom, washroom are very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room has a thermostat and you can control the temperature which was much appreciated, especially during the winter months. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk from the house which is convenient when getting to work or to the nearby shops. I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time at Matthias' house and I would definitely book again with him. You can't find a better spot in the Neuhausen, Schaffhausen, Rhein Falls area. Delia is a very nice host. I felt very comfortable A very comfortable bed so I slept very well. With the windows open, you could hear the Rhine. A very soothing background noise.

Beatrice is a friendly and communicative host who respects your privacy. Her place was adequate and uncluttered, close to the Music Island. Bea was particularly helpful finding a good parking spot, which is a big challenge in Rheinau.

Thanks to Linus, our stay went very well, the superb house from 1964 and quite in the air of time the necessary no frills, just the essentials. Beautiful grounds around the house, fireplace, beautiful kitchen, comfortable room. We recommend and will be happy to come back.

What a beautiful apartment this was, we really enjoyed it. We loved the views from the windows and the sound of the bells each day. It's an easy walk to so many shops and restaurants. It was only 10-15 minutes to walk to the train station. Staff were very friendly.

Wonderful home away from home, modern, spacious, well equipped, clean, quiet, rural yet easily accessible, great for staying with children and a lovely outdoor garden and activity space!

Ideal stay at Freja & Rune's place. Really good location with the train station and bus stop just a couple of minutes walk away. The flat is right in the Old Town and you can also easily do a nice walk along river to the Rhine Falls. Flat had everything needed for a short stay in Schaffhausen. Would stay again! Thanks :)

The apartment was just as shown in the pictures, and had everything we needed to spend a nice weekend in Schaffhouse. There is a bus stop nearby (few mins walk) to get to the city centre, which is convenient. Thanks for hosting us!

Our hosts were wonderful and so understanding of our delayed arrival after a missed train connection. Their place is immaculately clean and beautiful. The proximity to the Hardbrücke train station (2 minutes from the primary station) was perfect for heading into Zurich's Old Town and for undertaking daytrips elsewhere. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay, breathtaking landscapes, quiet and secluded area, but allows you to easily reach Zurich and nearby cities. Nice and cuddly apartment, tidy, clean and with everything you need. This is a great place to stay at when visiting Zurich. It’s a walkable distance from many places and available parking if driving. 5 out of 5 experience!

Excellent quiet location within a very short walkable distance from tram and train stations, 7 min walk to Zurich University of Arts, 2 min walk to COOP supermarket and Starbucks, 5-10 min walk to several good restaurants. Spotless, spacious apartment with everything you need for a week of stay. Full size washer and dryer were a big plus. Very detailed and clear instructions with local recommendations from the host. Would love to stay there again next time in Zurich!

We had an amazing 2 weeks stay in this flat! I am very happy & satisfied. I like it because its absolutely clean and high quality furnitures which feels like home. Very child friendly as well, its only me and my daughter its so convenient and yet private surroundings thats how i love it. Theres close groceries shops cafe and downstairs all day dining restaurants. We usually take uber to go to city areas and other places in zurich took us 11-15mins. And from airport is very close as well! I love it. I will come back again in zurich and stay here longer! Also annabel’s team are very kind and friendly. They response quickly to my messages and willing to help if needed. And its actually worth more than a hotel because of spacious and beautiful decor!
