Holiday rentals in Schurz

There is NO better place to stay if you want to ski at Heavenly. The parking lot by the Stagecoach lift gets busy so it's so nice to have the option to just walk there. And our kids who didn't want to ski as much as we did were able to walk back to the apartment, which was so great! Overall, fantastic place, great location, and wonderfully responsive host (thank you for leaving a few treats for us! The kids loved those!)

If I think about Lake Tahoe for sure Tom’s place would be the place I could think of going. The place was accessible to ski lifts and also to the heavenly village. We had a great with my family staying on his place. I highly recommend Tom’s place for sure.

Justin’s condo was the perfect winter retreat for a couple and their Labradors. We had a wonderful ski trip that allowed us to walk to the Stagecoach lift at Heavenly. The condo is at the top floor and up several flights of stairs. It definitely took our breath away but it was worth it being on the top floor. The view was great. We loved having vaulted ceilings. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated a real coffee maker and not a Keurig. Justin was a great host. He was quick to respond to my messages and was very friendly. We hope to visit again soon!

We’ve always been impressed by their prompt and friendly responses whenever we’ve reached out to them, regardless of the reason. Their home is truly a gem.

This is how it should be... direct contact with a responsive owner who is sharing their personal home. (not a corporate rental!) Chris always answered quickly when we had a question. Location was great for those who prioritize skiing and relaxing. View from balcony of Lake Tahoe was amazing! Shared hot tub just down the stairs and across the parking lot was great after skiing. Full kitchen to cook meals was wonderful, and well stocked with pots/pans/etc. Thank you Chris!!!

Comfortable place steps away from the stagecoach lift. Hosts responsive and helpful. Would recommend!

Our family of 4 did a quick over night stay and Jordan was very communicative and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Brendan’s house was a perfect place to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. It was spacious, clean and has beautiful views in the balcony. A good place to find relaxation and calmness. It’s also nearby the heavenly village which is convenient to explore the town and the locals.

Great location. Walkable to stagecoach lift especially if snowboarding. It’s a bit of a long hike if you are in ski boots. We like to get an early start so we actually just drove up and parked at stagecoach. The place was spotless and very well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches. Mykal even gave us an early bird check in without us asking. To ski rental places are close by. Fox and hound restaurant which is very good is easily walkable. Overall, I would highly recommend Michael’s place.
