Holiday rentals with lake access in Seattle

This place was awesome. Felt right at home—like one of the family. NOTE: If you like antiseptically trendy, pristine spaces full of faux wood and IKEA furniture, DO NOT stay here. You’ll just complain and give this property less than the five stars it deserves. IF, however, you like places that bring back childhood memories of coming in off the lake so grandma can make you a pj&j, pour you some milk and put camphor on your bug-bites, this is the place. The walls are real wood paneling. The lake is beautiful and serene. There are old boardgames and even older National Geographic magazines in the hall closet. Yes, there is WiFi, Netflix, and a Keurig, but you’ll kinda wish there wasn’t. This is the place to put that behind and step back into simpler, more connected (as in, with FAMILY) times. Stay here with your family. Turn your phones off. Play boardgames, canoe, and swim. We hope to be back again for a longer stay.

The house, property, and lake were beautiful and this Airbnb was an excellent getaway for our group of 6. The beds were comfy, the interior was decorated very nicely, and we had everything we needed amenity-wise. We wouldn’t have minded 1 more tv but with enough to do on the property it wasn’t a big deal at all. The hosts were very responsive, polite, and offered local recs when we asked. Thank you for a great weekend away, we’d absolutely come back to this rental!

What a wonderful, cozy stay! This house feels like a home in the best of ways. Very cozy fireplace, wonderful views of the lake and ducks swimming from the entire back of the house, plus above and beyond gestures of kindness from the host(s). I stayed here recovering from a medical procedure and was welcomed with a “get well soon” card. The house was spotless and full of natural light. Thank you again for the peaceful experience.

The “light filled Lake house” was exactly that and more. Extremely comfortable beds and living area. We were able to have our family visit us and enjoy a meal together because the kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly need to make a meal. This home is very private and peaceful so a vehicle is necessary to get out and about for daily activities other than spending a day by the lake which is right outside the back door. Kristine had coffee, trash bags, sandwich bags and other necessities available that we did not expect, which was a pleasant surprise. The Kayaks are not available in the Winter which is understandable, however our days were busy visiting family and sight seeing. Gig harbor (gorgeous!) 20 mins drive away. Seattle, one hour away with a thoroughly enjoyed Ferry ride. We highly recommend this home as your accommodations.

Such a great visit. my teen grand kids loved the canoe and pedal boat. Great selection of games, we played many of them. Beautiful setting!!

We just purchased a home in this area and needed a place to stay close to it while it gets furnished and this was perfect! It was so quiet and peaceful. The view of the lake is great! The house was very clean, decorated beautifully and super cozy. If we didn’t live just down the street we would stay here again! Mickey was a great host and answered my messages quickly. I had forgotten my purse here after checkout and he worked with me so I could retrieve it. Really great experience. Highly recommend! (I don’t recommend forgetting your purse though 😂).

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The view of the lake was stunning- especially in the morning at dawn as the sun started to rise. My husband enjoys cooking and he loved the gas stove. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and I appreciated not having to go to the store for coffee. It was chilly a couple of days and we made use of the fireplace in the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds. The house was decorated nicely and was comfortable and perfect for our needs.

I absolutely loved the place. We weren't blessed with great weather for our winter stay but it was cozy and wonderful anyway. when the sky did finally clear up for us the view was absolutely beautiful. I loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay with a beautiful view. Good location with easy access to many parts of Seattle and the airport.

Excellent stay, not too far from downtown.

This was a wonderful experience. I was in Seattle for a work training and I really felt at home. Lisa and Steve were so thoughtful and in the Airbnb I access to pots and pans, nice dishes, delicious snacks and really phenomenal coffee. The shower was my favorite. It was a glass shower with Aveda products. The bed was absolutely incredible - high quality sheets and great mattress. I can't wait to stay here again.

Alex's basement cottage was lovely. Beautifully furnished, clean, cozy, warm or cool as needed, full kitchen with all necessary appliances, utensils, full size fridge, dishwasher, etc. The bed & linens were very clean & comfortable. The yard around the main house was lovely & well cared for, with Spring flowers, shrubs & trees blooming all around. Alex's extra touches - like Easter treats! - were very much appreciated. The Cafe' Javasti just a few blocks away was great - amazing crepes & very good coffee! A sweet place & conveniently located near GreenLake Park, which is really worth a visit. There are many restaurants located at the part of the Park that is near Alex's place, but parking is a bit of an issue so if you are up for walking several blocks down & then back up again, that is the way to go. To see the Park & Lake itself, keep driving counter-clockwise around the lake & then park past The Boathouse Theater; it is less busy over there & very nice for many activities.

I came to Seattle for a yoga training and it was the perfect location and the view is absolutely beautiful!!

Scenic and comfortable for friends or family with kids. Kitchen was top notch, had all the essentials and multiple Keurig options. The deck by the lake is very nice to hang out at evenings and night time. TV remote didn't have batteries and the bathroom drain can be unclogged better. But these were minor inconveniences.

Wonderful little oasis. Very comfortable and fully stock kitchen everything you needed to cook a nice home cooked dinner. Make sure you are home to catch a sunset absolutely stunning. Hosts very responsive.

Quiet, comfortable stay in a very pleasant neighborhood with easy parking. It really felt like home, with a terrific kitchen, beautiful backyard view, tall ceilings and comfortable furniture. Will love returning when visiting again.

Thank you for the stay. We both enjoyed our time. And the beauty of the place. Found it very relaxing. And while we did not make use of all of the amenities, found all of it enticing enough to consider returning. For those of you looking at this to review, I have stayed at a number of places across the Pacific Northwest and this is definitely worth trying.

It has beautiful views, enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the deck, my Airedale loved the yard and playing in the water, we enjoyed watching the ducks swimming by and even with the rain it was still beautiful and enjoyable and very relaxing, loved staying there!

great host, great location and easy check-in. would absolutely book again. one thing to be mindful of are the stairs in the house going down as the steps can be tricky if you aren't watching your step.

Perfect tiny home! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. They were super easy to communicate with and gave me fantastic recommendations. The place was equipped with all essentials plus more. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay. I will definitely be booking again on my next trip!

Suzy is a great host. She is responsive and accommodating. Her Tiki cabin on the lake was a lovely weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I before he left for his deployment. The airbnb had everything you would need for a short getaway. There were snacks galore, water, and enough towels for the shower & lake activities. I would most definitely stay again when in the area!

Wow, there are not enough words on the planet to describe how wonderful and perfect this little beach house, slice of heaven truly is. My little family and I stayed here for a week and it was THE MOST relaxing, gorgeous, fun and memorable retreat we have ever had. This is truly the place to stay if you are visiting. Michael is SO incredible, responsive, happy, and he is incredibly friendly! Cheryl helped us with check in and answered all our questions throughout the week. She made some AMAZING suggestions and we did most all of them!! This was truly such an amazing place to stay. You can't match the peace that comes with this private beach, the gorgeous views, lots of wildlife to watch and enjoy and just the bliss that comes with the beach house. Truly THE PLACE to stay💕 Best AirBnB out there I promise. Thank you again for the wonderful week!!

This was a little get away for my birthday and it was perfect 😍 my husband and I stayed for 2 nights. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and cozy. Just what we needed to decompress and reconnect as a couple 😊 The location is far enough away from the busy city life but close enough to go do some things!

What a dream of a place. One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, and we travel a lot. If you are looking for a peaceful/romantic/beautiful spot, this is it. We felt completely at home. The view is spectacular. The bed was super comfortable, and the apartment itself had everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding, and David's place was the exact tranquil retreat we needed.
