“It’s the people who matter. Caretaker Mark and his family made us feel home from the instant we reached this place. These were some of the most humble people I’ve ever met. I was traveling with a 2yr old who wasn’t feeling well, Mark got medicines for us even late in the night. One of the highlight was the bonfire and dinner setup around it which made the stay extra special for us. The homecooked food was so amazing that we ended up eating at home on all days! Staywise- The villa is not luxurious but is functional. Location is at the centre with most attractions nearby.

Quite nice apartment，brand new with good furniture. And the staff are friendly and professional. near the building there is a nice coffee shop，That would be better if you prepare the hair dryer😊

I'm only giving 5 stars because I can't give more. Dana communicated very promptly and nothing was a problem for him. Anything we needed was met beforehand. He is a very nice and welcoming person. She was an absolutely amazing host. We had warm tea ready upon arrival. She asked us what we would do for dinner, that she would prepare it for us. And what did she set up?? You can't describe in words how great it was! They are both very great people. We're sorry we had to leave so early. We'll be back as soon as we can!

Every other five star I've given pales in comparison to this place! Highlight of our whole Sri Lankan trip. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, probably the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. The whole family was so friendly and helpful and Romeni and Grace even gave us a cooking demonstration. The hike through the cloud forest with Lal is also fantastic. The accommodation is very peaceful, we were sad to leave! Thankyou again.

Our stay at this bungalow was nothing short of amazing! The property is spacious, well-maintained, and offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect escape from the city. The presence of friendly dogs added a warm and homely touch to the experience. Sanjoy, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and ensured we had a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the bathtub, which made for a relaxing retreat after a long day. Given the amenities, space, and hospitality, this place is an absolute steal for the price. Highly recommended for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay

We spent a delightful three days in this beautiful home, steeped in Sri Lankan history and tradition. The staff, headed by Pathi cooked us the most delicious meals, including meals where we sourced food from the local market. Pathi went out of his way to make us feel at home and completely pampered us. Not only is StonyHurst a perfect place to relax after the heat of the coast, it is a good springboard for visiting high tea estates, as well as playing golf at the course in Nuwara Eliya. We will cherish our memories from our stay.

This place is perfect for hikers, in the middle of the tea mountains. The view was breathtaking. Ragu was very accommodating and even brought us the food to the cabin. We had to leave one night earlier and the cost was refunded to us.

The apartment was as described and very clean. Upali met us on arrival and provided us with the keys and showed us the place. We asked him for a heater as it was quite cold in the apartment and he brought that along with a blanket right away. The unit is very damp - perhaps it is because of the location but it is quite noticeable. There was an elevator which we appreciated since we had luggage. Having a kitchen and a fridge was also very convenient. There is a restaurant at the first floor of the building that serves decent food as well. We walked to the main market which is about 9 minutes away. Overall excellent value for the money and great for a night or two!
