We stayed at the Mother Earth 'Turquoise' Hogan (#2) - Kayenta, Arizona in September of 2021. We only stayed one night. We said when we left that if we ever got back to the area, we would stay two nights. We found ourselves in Glorieta, NM near Santa Fe the end of March in 2025. We drove six hours to stay here again, which meant we traveled 12 hours out of our way from the way we were headed. Staying in Roslyn's Hogan near Monument Valley is worth the trip. The Hogan is a very spiritual place, very quiet and private. She serves you Navaho fry bread with honey for breakfast and Navaho Tacos or soup for dinner for an extra charge. Spend the money, the meals are very good. You look out the door of the Hogan that faces East and you see Monument Valley spread out in front of you with no obstructions. Roslyn's hospitality is superb. You cannot beat the massivie and beautiful surroundings of this place.

This is a truly unique experience with scenery like nothing else. As long as you know what you’re in for- no running water, an outhouse and a dirt floor- you’ll have a lovely time. The beds are comfortable and warm and with cold nights we really took advantage of the stove. The best way to get a hold of the hosts was to just knock on the door and they were happy to meet all our needs. There is electricity and a plug for charging phones which we had not expected but were delighted to have. There is no key for the door- you leave it unlocked- and being city people we were unused to that. June assured us that our things would be perfectly safe and she was right. We loved watching the stars at night, tucking up cozy with the stove on when it rained, and following the family horses out to the road in the morning. Thank you to the family for this memorable experience.

We loved our stay here. Brian and his wife were so kind and friendly, and we loved their dog! Really gorgeous spot, very quiet and close to a great hike. Will stay here again when we are in the area, best camping spot for Monument Valley! You’re super close to the park!

Beautiful, clean place with great hosts. Andi was very kind and accommodating. This is one of the cleanest places I have stayed, you would never guess they allow pets! They have thought of everything and have such such helpful amenities for pet owners.

One of the best places I've ever had on Airbnb!! The location is superb, right in the middle of Monument Valley with a breathtaking view. The place is beautiful, very well appointed, clean. You can order tacos from Célia, they are delicious! There are also great jewelry on site that you can buy. Célia and her family are adorable, very responsive and ready to answer any of your questions. Everything was perfect:)

Sophia was wonderful and extremely accommodating, giving plenty of recommendations for what to do in the area and very helpful with finding the guest house. The host water wasn’t working for the shower but Sophia was very responsive and worked to fix it as best she could. It snowed while I was there and Sophia was kind enough to lend me her ice scraper and follow me till I reached the paved roads. Overall a very nice place to stay, beautiful scenery, and great host!

Beautiful place with all the amenities as described. The location is amazing with beautiful views all around , quiet and peaceful , the sunrise views from here are spectacular, the night sky is brilliant with so many stars. Aaron is a wonderful and kind host , super responsive and provided clear instructions. He made sure we are comfortable and have everything needed for our stay. He even shared his culture and music with us which was a wonderful experience. The bathroom facilities are super clean and well maintained , the outdoor kitchen is well equipped. Overall, this was a really unique experience and I would highly recommend to anyone. We will definitely be back if we are in the area ! Thank you Aaron for your hospitality !!

What an interesting place to stay! My family absolutely loved it. We really appreciated all the amenities and the on-site restaurant. There is SO MUCH to explore in the area, and this was the perfect place to stay for all the adventure. We truly hope to return soon!
