Excellent place to stay with large family

We had a lovely three days at Daniel’s chalet. The place was brand new and super clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. Despite using just a portion of the house, we still had enough areas for the two of us to work, nap, cook, and play board games (both indoors and on the patio). Lake Thomas is beautiful, but the only issue we had was putting the kayak into the lake - there were floods just before we arrived, so we would be knee deep in mud when entering the kayak. Swimming was much easier to do, as we jumped into deep water from the quay. When swimming be sure to try out the little green and white floaties - they’re so much fun! 🙂 At the time of our stay, the space between the chalet and the lake was rocky (there is no grassy areas) and unfinished (as per the photos), so we couldn’t sit by the lake except on the quay. We are feeling refreshed by the water and calmed by the quiet nature around the lake, and would surely return! Thanks, Daniel!

We had a great time at Sophie's place! Large for 2 people, in a very quiet place, by the river, a few minutes from Shawinigan, we were able to rest and enjoy the magnificent Parc de la Mauricie (about 30min drive from the Saint Jean des Piles entrance).

I had a fantastic stay with Fabiola and Étienne. The apartment is beautiful, warm and very well located. It is equipped with everything you need, including a washer, dryer and other appliances, which made my stay even more comfortable. What makes this place really special is the incredible hospitality of Fabiola and Étienne. They were always kind, caring, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Once again, thank you for everything 🥰

Honestly, we had such a good experience. It’s small, cute and cozy. Super well located. Access to a dep right in front and grocery store is about 3 minutes drive from the house. The decoration is so adorable. House is super well furnished. Host is super helpful, patiente and responds with clear instructions. Definitely recommend especially for couples who want a cute weekends away.

Absolutely wonderful place. The hosts went above and beyond for us. Beautiful area, every amenity you could need. The hosts were really thoughtful and responsive, had everything necessary for us and more. From all of my airbnb experiences, I’d have to say these were the best hosts I’ve ever had.
