Holiday rentals in Shearwater

Lovely place to stay in Launceston. Stunning home with lots of character. 4 adults travelling for work and the size of the house was ideal for the trip with deck area and lounge to relax at the end of the day. A few quirks and moments we had to reach out to hosts for but they were very responsive. Would stay again!

Mel was super friendly the moment I booked the room. I had a wonderful night with my kids at her very tidy home, we played board games with amples to choose from, and had a beautiful evening at the beach which was only a stone throw away. highly recommend Mels beautiful home for your nest stay. ✨️

What a wonderful place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Lark's place - looking out the expansive windows to the glorious views, cooking up a lovely meal in the well-equipped kitchen and being together in an extended family group. It is truly a lovely house and we will definitely return for future stays. Lark is a great host - nothing is too difficult and she was very responsive to every approach. Our engagement with her could not have been easier.

We had a lovely time at the Beach Shack - it was so comfortable and it had everything and more that you could possibly want for a holiday accomodation. Susan had provided extra treats like a block of Toblerone chocolate, and the house was extremely well equipped in all aspects, wanting for nothing. It really felt like home to relax in, rather than just an ordinary Airbnb that only had the bare essentials. We really appreciated the care Susan took with all the little extras and wide range of amenities (even a small blender to make yummy smoothies!) It’s also in a perfect location opposite the beach, and perfect for walking or bike riding, as well as swimming. We would highly recommend The Beach Shack, and hope to return again one day. Claire was very quick to answer a small query that I had. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a value for money property. It was beautifully clean and everything anyone could want in the house. Would stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. We felt so comfortable and the house was very spacious. Everything is provided which made our stay so easy. So close to the beach and great running tracks. Absolutely loved it and we will definitely return. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.
