Cottage holiday rentals in Shenandoah River

Ladies getaway to Berkeley Springs for much needed relaxation. This property was adorable, close to town to walk to restaurants and the park, and the hot tub was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time away. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were eclectic and fun (especially the powder room door!). She had a coffee/hot cocoa bar stocked and ready which was unexpected and lovely. We could not get the gas fireplace to work and Heather came over quickly to attempt a fix which we greatly appreciated. We ended up putting the yule log from YouTube on the big TV and enjoying the living room without the real fireplace. We got recommendations from the host on local attractions and she was very considerate and responsive. This place was easily worth what we paid for it!! Give it a try!!

We had the best time at the cottage! The wine was delicious, the house was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed being able to soak in the hot tub. Andrea gave us very clear check in and out instructions and was a kind host. We will definitely be back!

My husband, daughter, pup and I very much enjoyed our weekend getaway to Creek Haven. A very picturesque and serene setting, perfect for relaxing time away. Cabin was neat and clean, we would definitely stay there again.

this place is as described. if you are looking for luxury this isn't the place for you. if you are looking for a clean,well equipped relaxing vacation this place is well worth it. there is no WiFi. my husband and I have the same plan he had coverage I did not (?) so I hot spotted off him if I needed. Darrel met us on arrival and explained everything. we were down during a very cold time but we were nice and warm. there was nothing lacking in our needs, cooking, bathing. the hot tub was great. my husband wants to go back when the river is not frozen over so be can fish. it was a great stay

We had a great stay at Janelle’s house. The house was very clean and was perfect for our family of 3. It had plenty of space and was very comfortable. The hot tub and movie theater room were certainly the highlights and we don’t plenty of time in each. The house is less than a 5 min drive from Wisp resort so was a perfect location for our ski weekend. It is located on a very quiet road so it was very peaceful with great scenery. Janelle’s information and communication made our stay very simple and enjoyable. We will certainly look to stay here again if we return to wisp.

Phillip's cabin was wonderful. It was in a beautiful location, had easy access to Wisp resort (about 5 minutes driving), and was exactly as described in the description. Communication was smooth and we did not have any issues during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Our aim was to find somewhere quiet and peaceful to get away for the weekend and it was the perfect fit. The full property is gorgeous with walking paths and beautiful wildlife. A small herd of deer had bedded down just outside the cottage and we just spent the morning watching them before going for a walk around the area. I’d recommend bringing appropriate footwear if there’s been rain or snow because it can get a little muddy. Overall a great place for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back for another stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Willie’s Place! Patti was a great host, she stayed in touch and made sure we knew she was close by if we needed anything. The location was perfect, very quiet and within close driving of all of our points of interest. Orange itself is a wonderful town, plenty to see and do. The house was great for a week stay, perhaps the most comfortable Airbnb bed we’ve ever used. Patti provided very easy instructions for accessing the house and everything was clean and ready for our stay. We highly recommended staying here and will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

The weather was cold, the cottage was warm, cozy and bright. Great location for the nearby entertainments, shops and eateries. Crozet market has every imaginable provision, and Amy has provided all necessities, including coffee, treats, toiletries, comfortable bedding, kitchen wares and appliances. There is nothing missing. Our pre Christmas get away was wonderful and we will certainly return. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

Only stayed one night as we were passing through. Yard was great for our dogs! Hosts were friendly and responsive. Exactly as listed. I would stay here again and recommend to others!

An absolute gem with phenomenal artwork, an eclectic decor, so many welcome extras, peaceful & private, and the most dog-friendly place we have ever stayed to boot. We were fortunate to happen upon this listing and Eli was thoughtful with messages both via Airbnb plus the ones he left in just the right spots inside the Cottage—bigger than it looks—itself.

Awesome stay! Billy's place is a gem. The pictures are good, but when you arrive you get a cheerful warmth that is not conveyed in the pics. The kitchen stuff was good quality and well maintained. Beds comfortable, details were well thought out. esp the guest book with the SNP hike maps and the coffee. Location is perfect for hikers and people who want to explore the valley. All the correspondence was warm, friendly and informative. We had a great time and hope to stay again in the future!

This place was on a beautiful mountainside with incredible views of the valley around. The cottage was very cute and the host is extremely thoughtful. It has everything you might need, and if it doesn’t, the host will make sure you have it. Highly recommended staying here for a mountaintop getaway

Located on a short road in a residential area: almost no traffic or noise Located in a small peninsula: waterfronts are within 1 to 3 min. at large-city walking speed 2 Restaurants within 3 to 5 min. walking radius at large-city walking speed WiFi: fast and stable Desk: small but enough for 16 in. laptop and mouse. House is facing south. Interior was dry and free of smell or bugs. TV: Roku TV Refrigerator was clean and was odor free. Food waste erator worked well. Dish washer worked well. All lights worked well and switches were labeled. Digital doorlock worked well and was easy to use. There is a deck, yard, and firepit behind the house to the north of the building. Many seniors live in the area with Golf Cart as a main vehicle so remember to be careful. Kayaks were available if requested before check-in. I stayed for a short work-trip but the property and the location is well suited for a vacation.

Incredible location within 10 mins to Shenandoah National Park which is absolutely worth passing though at the least. This place was super clean and easy to get in and out of, key code given ahead of time and all questions answered made this place definitely worth the value. Would stay again if ever in the area. 5/5

We had a great relaxing stay. The place was extremely clean, very simplistic, and charming. Walked to the brewery from the cottage and had some great tasting beers. Would recommend staying here

If you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque getaway, this is the place! Did I mention how unbelievable the fire place is?!? (South Floridian here, we dont have fire places inside) Joy and Rich are the best!
