Apartment holiday rentals in Shimogyo Ward

Cocrorro hotel is great. The station and Family mart are literally steps away. The room was cozy and comfortable. The only thing you need to be made aware of is there is no elevator, so you will have to carry your luggage up the narrow stairs. It’s a great value! I plan on staying there anytime I come to Kyoto!!

GREAT location! Walkable to the train station and to many amazing restaurants, shrines, convenience stores, parks etc. Instructions for everything were crystal clear. The only thing I wish I had known is that it is on the corner of a very busy intersection so it was noisy at night and in the mornings. Also, there is a restaurant next door on the same floor so people coming and going to eat will be heard. If you are prepared for that, you’ll be totally happy with the convenient location. I went during the peak season (cherry blossom illumination for the neighborhood) so that is probably why it was so crowded/noisy! Possibly other times of the year are quieter. Also wish I had known- you will only be provided 1 towel/person for your entire stay and the towels are small and thin. Bring some if you can! Or you can wash it obviously. It rained while we were there so things took forever to dry. But there’s a laundromat within walking distance for drying if need be! Overall, great stay!

Great stay at Koji's place! Definitely a smaller space, would best serve solo travelers and maybe couples. Would not recommend for families or groups. Extremely convenient location, walking distance to Kyoto Station. Also very close to Toji Temple. Overall, I had a nice and peaceful stay here, would highly recommend for its location and easy access to everything in Kyoto!

We stayed at the 2nd floor. The place was clean. April and Hideki are also so thoughtful. They helped us bring our luggages. They can also accept storing luggages in advance which is very helpful. Once we have arrived at Haneda, we just delivered our luggages to this place. Its a bit packed for 5 of us to stay together, but it will be perfect for a family of 3-4. Nearest station is Kujo station ( Karasuma line). 10 minutes walk to Kyoto Station if you want to save money and directly access the Keihan line. However, there is bus terminal nearby which u can visit KiyomizuDera, Tennoji Temple, Gion in just a ride. Thanks April and Hideki!

Great place to stay! The room is clean and cozy, has all amenities, even washing machine. Perfect location, peaceful and quiet, near the central station and the metro station. Totally recommend!

干净卫生 入住方便

Top Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und gut gelegen. Besonders der zur Verfügung gestellte Parkplatz ist super, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt. Der Gastgeber war freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

위치가 최고인 숙소였습니다. 각 관광지로의 이동도 주변 식당도 집 앞 산책까지 모두 완벽했어요. 호스트의 답변도 즉각적이고 친절하고 편안하게 해 주어 좋았습니다. 벚꽃 시즌이라 (벚꽃이 늦어 못봤지만..) 전체적인 교토 숙소비용이 올라있던 때인지라 조금은 비싸게 지불했지만 다음에 또 꼭 방문하고 싶습니다 :)

Yasushi is an amazing AirBnB host. The place was clean, spacious, and the closet was helpful to hang up our winter coats during December. He was always responsive in what I needed assistance for and extremely attentive to us which make us feel right at home. I highly recommend booking his listings!

The host was very helpful and responsive, and the space was clean and well-maintained. The location was convenient for getting to public transportation and attractions, and I appreciated that the amenities provided were as described. Overall, I had a delightful stay, finding the accommodations to be a good value, and I would recommend this place to others and definitely will come and stay here again!

Loved staying here, Taiyo’s family was so friendly and sweet. Was very helpful and I was also able to luggage forward to my next hotel as she called Yamato transport so they could pick up my luggage. Room was very spacious and had everything I needed. Would highly recommend and next time I’m in Kyoto I would definitely stay here again!!

Seizai fue muy amable y comprensivo en todo el proceso, y el alojamiento es tal y como se describe. Perfecto si quieres estar en una zona tranquila y auténtica de Kyoto.

Mi hijo y yo pasamos dos noches agradables en el alojamiento y en el barrio, en donde había de todo, era un sitio agradable! nos fallo un poco el wifi la primera noche! y para los que les guten los colchones duros, este no lo es! mi hijo estaba encantado, yo no tanto! Muy recomendable en general y el anfitrión siempre atento y disponible! Gracias

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Easy check in. Staff was really friendly and spoke English. They were able to store our luggage for us until check in and had our luggage in our room when we arrived back later. Place looked exactly like the photos. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood despite being across from a popular shrine. Bus stop right outside the airbnb. Main train station 15-20min walk. Had all listed amenities.

Logement très agréable, au calme, bien situé et spacieux. Si on est pointilleux, on pourra dire qu’il manque un éclairage naturel, mais bon… en partant à 7h du matin et en revenant à 21h, c’est pas bien grave ! La salle de bain est fantastique. L’hôte est très sympathique et réactif. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

The place was great, we stayed 4 nights, it was easy to get around the city. As some people mentioned, you do hear some noise from the street, but the nights were quiet and we had good sleeps and rest.
