Apartment holiday rentals in Japan

I stayed at Robert’s place for a week while I was visiting a friend in Yoga, and I loved it. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and well-equipped. I felt right at home. Had everything I needed to do a little cooking and recharge while enjoying living authentically in Tokyo. It is located in a very quiet and pretty nice residential area, very close to the Yoga station and restaurants and grocery stores. Location is unbeatable. Some things to note: there is no tumble dryer, which is standard for Asia. The apartment has a washer, clothesline, and hangers on a private little patio which doesn’t face the street. However, because the apartment is on the ground floor, I was still a little worried about someone taking my clothes so I dried some clothes in the bathroom. Bathroom is small, but wasn’t a problem for me. Everything looks like the photos. Overall, loved the place and highly recommend.

Had a great stay here. Washer and dryer were very convenient. It was a little difficult to find at first, but ultimately a good secure location. Area was very busy though once on the main street. Thank you for hosting.

Good location, walkable to local station, 25/30 min by local metros to Shin Osaka station, and about 25/30 min walk to Dotonbori. Very nice local street market/plaza 2 min walk from apartment. Good value for price.

Everything was fine. They were clear and responsive when you needed it. The place was nice and peaceful—a good location between the two main stations.

Place was really nice and clean, perfect location with Lawson in the parking lot, super convenient. Close to the beach and everything. The bikes on the property was a plus, and the Mount Fuji view off the front balcony is breathtaking. Definitely booking again next time in Numazu.

Beautiful and clean self-service hotel in Hiroshima. The museum and the peace park was within walkable distance. Amenities were nice and check in process was very smooth despite us booking the hotel day of. I would like to stay here again if I ever come back to Hiroshima. 10/10 would recommend!

The place was very clean and had everything I needed. Location is near the train station and close to several restaurants and main streets of Shibuya. Super good spot, recommend to others!

Overall, it was a great place to stay. Everything was good except for the towel which was quite small. It would be wonderful if the owner could provide a standard size of towel. Thank you!

Great space for family, quiet, clean and convenience. 6 minutes walking distance to Ikebukuro C5 exit. At least 3 supermarkets close by. Close to airport shuttle bus.

Great location in a quiet area. Only 5 min walk to the nearest train station and was only 20-25 mins to Shinjuku/Shibuya. The room was quite large in comparison to most accomodation in Japan and came with all necessary amenities. Only the Wifi was a bit slow and the bathroom a little crammed but it didn’t hinder our stay.

Highly recommend this apartment, it's centrally located, close to public transport and Dotonburi. It was the perfect size for our family of 3 and the view over the river was perfect for staying in the middle of the city. The host provided small, snacks, sweets and refreshments. There were also umbrellas for the rainy days and we felt at home.

It is about ten minutes from Susukino Subway Station. It is very convenient to get around. It is very close to Riko Road and convenient to eat. The room is clean and hygienic, and the appliances are fully equipped.

Had a great stay for about 26 days. It's like renting a real apartment and living there. You need to make your own food, buy your groceries, clean your clothes yourself. The only thing I missed a little bit because it was summer was a freezer, but with a supermarket a few minutes away you can buy the ice there. Station is about 15 minutes, but I always enjoyed the walk there. You can walk along a beautiful river for a bit to get the station. I didn't have any contact with other guests or neighbors, but the walls are thin and you can hear them sometimes. I can fully recommend this apartment if you don't want the hotel experience and more of a living experience

Great location. New, clean hotel. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Access to the building via codes so no need to pick up or take care of a key. Building has an elevator. Room has AC. It is in a great location - 10 minute walk to Peace Park and 10 minute walk to Hondori shopping street. Easy to get to/from Hiroshima Station via 15 minute bus ride + 5 minute walk. Would stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Hiroshima! The free, local breakfast is also a nice touch. It is delivered to your room at the time of your choosing between 7am and 9:30am.

We had a great stay and thank our hosts for providing nice accommodation for us. There are two twin beds in one bedroom and one double bed that is in the living room separated by a curtain for privacy. The balcony is very nice although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as it was raining for the majority of our stay. Overall we enjoyed the apartment and the surrounding area!

Masami’s apartment was perfect for our family of four (two parents, two teens). We prefer to avoid cookie cutter hotels and instead seek to experience places that are a little closer to how the locals live. The cozy apartment fit the bill! It’s efficiently designed, with clever features such as a shower that also functions as a clothes dryer (no tumbling, so easier on your textiles, and it works incredibly well!). We appreciated how clean everything was, and how well everything functioned. The location was great, too — a stone’s throw from the metro, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but still nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Finally, the price was right — much better than piecing together two hotel rooms! We will recommend this place to any friends visiting Tokyo!

Super satisfying homestay!!!Exactly like the pictures and very clean!!I love the decoration style, it is convenient to have a kitchenette, and there is also a balcony, but we have a general view of the balcony on the 3rd floor.Easy access to the airport, 5 minutes walk from the subway station, there is also a supermarket next to the subway station.You can hear a little subway at night, but it is not noisy, the keypad is very easy to check in, it is very suitable for the community, in any case, it is a super recommended!

Great value and convenient. Though i would suggest travellers to bring their own towels s these were not provided. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay especially this close to city centre at this price.

Overall, the accommodation was clean, the bed was fluffy, and it was nice to have a washing machine. It was a little narrow, so everything was good except for the regret of unfolding the luggage!

At night, there is sometimes a violent scooter outside, and the sound of a motorcycle is very loud, and it is not good to sleep.

The place is super small and the laundry dryer doesn’t work and the host isn’t that helpful when it comes to the dryer other than to point out the closest laundromat. That being said, they are responsive and the place is clean. I would NOT recommend this place for groups larger than 2 people max. Ideally a couple that gets along in close spaces. Came here with my wife and 2 young kids and we stayed out the entire day to avoid being inside. The sleeping situation was decent for us but the rest of the place is insanely small. It doesn’t have a living room or even a useable eating area. Shower is so cramped and trying to use the sink is a major challenge for anyone taller than 5’5. I gave 5 stars cause the place is clean and host is responsive. That’s all we can really ask for as guests from a host. It worked out for us but it wasn’t a comfortable experience so know that when booking

Seth’s place was perfect and conveniently located near many beautiful landmarks. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The view from the balcony was great and the neighborhood was super quiet, the most peaceful stay we have had in Japan so far. 10/10.

This house is well furnished and great for big group or families. Great location, just 250m from main station with multiple lines. Close to local restaurants, CVs and supermarket. Recommended.

It’s at a prime location, walkable to lots of attractions and shopping but meanwhile at a quiet and historical neighborhood. It’s a pleasure to stay at this place.
