Villa holiday rentals in Shizuoka

I used it with 2 families + 1 dog. We had a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle in a natural place in a nice villa. I went to Lake Yamanaka for the holidays and was prepared to be cold, but the floor heating was everywhere in the room, and I had a pleasant time. It was the best view from the living room with a view of Mt. Doe Kai Fuji from the room. The sauna was authentic and very popular. I would love to use it again if I have the chance!

Jim's place is value for the price paid - the house is an older place but it's a double storey house on a hill with a view of Kawazu town and sunrise, and dark skies at night where one can see the stars, serenity and greenery all round... The house has 2 toilets and washbasins, one on each level so it's convenient for occupants as the bedrooms are also spread out across the 2 levels. Beds were comfortable though I felt the double bed downstairs wld be a tight squeeze for 2 adults. Drive up the hill was pretty steep and quite an adventure! Jim was responsive and provided timely and useful instructions.

The hot spring was more pleasant than anything, and I was able to enter three times during my stay! The interior was beautiful as pictured (more than the photos), and it was too spacious for two people to stay, and I was satisfied! I'd love to visit again if I get the chance!Many thanks!!

I stayed here for a few nights in February and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and very-well managed. The host was responsive and allowed us to check-in when we arrived early. One thing to know is that you must walk up a big hill after taking the cable car to reach the house. When you go up using the cable car from Gora station, get out on the left side.

It was clean, very well stocked with dishes, card games, etc., and I enjoyed it very much!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. Everything was as described. It was easy to walk into town or to take a bus. There is a 7-11 right across the street which we enjoyed. The downstairs bedroom has proper mattresses but otherwise there are traditional mats to sleep on which can be hard on the floor.

There were eight of us and we had a great time at this villa. The whole house is very well - designed and the check - in instructions are very clear. The BBQ and onsen were really amazing. Even though it was difficult to hire a taxi when leaving due to the language barrier, the host was helpful. He would book a taxi in advance if you told him one day before.

It is a very relaxing facility for large groups.Hot springs are great to be able to enter at any time.The table was also very large and we had a relaxing stay.The Japanese-style room is a cozy and pleasant space.There are also a variety of games, and we all have a game competition.There was even a yoga mat, and it was stretched in a spacious place.There is even a massage machine, so you can use it.This time it was one night, but I wanted to stay longer and relax.The starry sky is also very beautiful.I don't know if my grandchildren are beautiful in Australia!He said. There was plenty of space in the room, and there were all the cooking utensils and amenities, so I had a comfortable stay. The grill for the BBQ was also ready to use. There are few street lights around, so it's safe to move before the sun goes down.

4 people in the family, 3 nights and 4 days. It was a very pleasant and satisfying environment, such as the location, the view, and the facilities. The trip was meant to take it easy, but I was very happy to see the kids going back and forth on the first and second floors and playing with soccer balls in the garden. In the morning, we felt the best view and sunshine, and our family was energized. I'd love to stay there again.

It was great that we couldn't find anything about the cleanliness, BBQ facilities, pools, amenities, and more.Sometimes the host was a very nice person, so I had a pleasant stay.

This was the most incredible place to stay. If you are visiting Shimoda and looking for peace and tranquility, highly recommend. Pristine home, lovely views, great restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking. I never wanted to leave and will definitely be back.
