We had such a wonderful stay here, absolute tranquility. Comfy bed, great shower, lovely kitchen and views. Photos don't do the cottage justice! We'd love to come back 😊

We were so pleased to find this gem for a last minute night away - we wish we could have stayed longer! The hut has everything you could possibly need (we were particularly impressed by the DVD collection!!) It was very clean and the decor made it extra cosy. We especially LOVED feeding the cute donkeys and stargazing in the hot tub - the views are just incredible. Nicola was a lovely host making sure we had all the information we needed, wishing us a safe journey and left us some goodies for our stay!! Thank you so much for having us 🤍

This was such a peaceful place to stay for a long weekend! The lodge is spacious with a well equipped kitchen, comfy seating area and large veranda. As it's the end of the run it felt private and the view of trees and sound of birdsong was very relaxing. Just what we needed!

Absolutely lovely cottage in a lovely location! It was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Kim gave us very clear instructions on how to find the cottage, along with lots of recommendations of things to do! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need for cooking, the only thing we would change would be having salt and pepper shakers rather than sachets. We really enjoyed the different flavoured coffees! We really enjoyed the local area- the local pub is a 3 minute walk away, and we also visited the local shop. We walked along the canal from the village to Crickhowell, which was a very easy and beautiful route! If we had stayed longer we would have made use of the bike hire in the village. The only thing we would have added would have been some board games/card games for when the weather isn’t on side! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come again. Thank you, Kim.

So quite and tranquil, perfect break away

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

We had a lovely few days stay at Zoe's beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed, parking on the road or in the car park just a stones throw away, was in easy walking distance to the town centre, lovely riverside walks nearby, great pubs and a great base to explore the surrounding areas.

Could not recommend this place enough. Loved the views of the mountains. We all loved the outside bath. Cabin immaculately clean and tidy. No WiFi, just brilliant! Wanted to get away from it all. Local pubs and walks fantastic. Was looking at local Ley lines in the area. Twin valley ley lines and pilgrimage. Local medieval churches stunning. Laura an excellent host. Cider and Apple juice on site with shop. Lovely to to have a welcome note for kids and me. Kids loved the outside bath and also the bunk bed. And very accommodating with same day/late booking. We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
