Holiday rentals in Shrewsbury

The Little Gate House was perfect for our family getaway. It had everything we could possibly need for our trip, including a cot, highchair, and bath for our little girl, so that helped make our packing a little lighter. There was a beautiful outdoor space but unfortunately it was raining, so we didnt get to use it. It was in a great location with Ruthin and Llangollen easy to get too. The surroundings were lovely and it was very tranquil. Kirsty was great. She recommended lots of things to do and also put up some birthday banners as it was my husband's birthday. Also, the hamper and welcome was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay at The Little Gate House again. Thank you very much!

A fantastic home away from home, a perfect location with a stunning view!

Silvie's Cottage is a true delight! Welcoming, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and feels like a home from home with lots of extra touches. Off road parking in a lovely residential street which is only a short stroll into Church Stretton and a choice of walks straight from the door with no need to use a car. The garden is lovely and adds to the overall atmosphere of a warm welcoming cottage. We loved our few days stay, would highly recommend and plan to return again....hopefully soon! The place where you live out your dreams!!! Sitting watching the stars glisten from the hot tub listening to the night sounds. Watching the sun set with a roaring fire and waking up to most amazing views and spending time with the cutest animals! Honestly can’t fault it/ slept like a log on both nights and really didn’t want to leave. The personal touches were absolutely amazing too with the little treats really appreciated xxx

This was such a peaceful place to stay for a long weekend! The lodge is spacious with a well equipped kitchen, comfy seating area and large veranda. As it's the end of the run it felt private and the view of trees and sound of birdsong was very relaxing. Just what we needed!

What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!

So quite and tranquil, perfect break away

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful place, was the perfect escape from the city for the weekend. Pip explained everything accurately and thoroughly and provided us with some logs for the fire which was great fun. The hut was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bath outside was perfect for a cold evening. Thanks Pip we had a great time!
