Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Shurdington

We stayed at Compton House with a group of friends for a birthday celebration and the house was perfect. Location was great for dog walking and for wandering into Chipping Campden village with it’s lovely shops. Beautifully clean and we were left a welcome pack that was such a lovely touch. Would highly recommend

Excellent location within easy distance of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. Easy to check in and flexible on check in and check out. Very well appointed and kitted out accommodation which was very clean and lacked nothing. Comfortable beds and linens. Very sociable space. Helpful, responsive and informative hosts. The eight of us had a fantastic stay in such a lovely house.

Absolutely loved staying at the Coach House. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, dog friendly, lots to do in the pretty village of Bourton and central to all amenities. Loads of walks from the door too. Private parking is very handy. Comfortable beds. Lovely log burner with logs etc provided. Would definitely stay here again. Ian was very easy to get in touch with, quick to respond and extremely pro active and helpful.

We loved our stay in this stunning home! Two fab pubs just outside which had been recommended to us by the host, along with lots of other helpful tips. Parking wasn't too much of an issue for us, but be warned the village was quite crowded with tourists, even at this time of year. Didn't bother us too much but we weren't really expecting it! We loved the house and really loved that there were some logs left so that we could have a cosy fire in the log burner. Stairs are a bit of a death trap (this was to our amusement) but host had warned us about those so we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! People with limited mobility would need to take this into account when booking. Really appreciated we were able to bring a dog too, and there were some lovely walks around the area, umbrellas and wellies were at the property which was also really helpful. Overall a really beautiful unique property, ideal for a cosy winter stay!

Beautiful cottage which was beautifully presented. Clean and very well equipped. I have stayed at lots of Airbnb properties and this was the best. Very helpful and communicative host; some lovely welcoming touches; very well stocked with most things you could need in the kitchen including some extra basic food and drink items that can be used. Lovely Molten Brown toiletries in the bathroom were provided. Very comfortable beds and furniture is exceptional throughout the property. Plenty of space and all amenities are well thought through to ensure your convenience and comfort. Two great bedrooms, one with en-suite shower. Bathroom downstairs is spacious. Bespoke kitchen is amazing with large fridge/freezer and all other amenities exactly as described. Location is good, very quiet, easy parking and a choice of some lovely local pubs serving great food. Very restful, with nice walks nearby for my dog. Good size secure garden at the back. A fantastic stay for a local wedding. Sarah’s apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped for a young family of four to stay. The addition of a microwave was a great bonus with little one and milk! Main bed was super cosy and super thick curtains/plains so minimal light comes through- perfect for early wakers when first light of dawn appears. The apartment is up quite a few narrow staircases but this meant we had the places to ourselves and felt very private. We can’t wait to come back to explore the area.

We had a very memorable relaxing stay in this lovely warm and well kitted out barn. the venue was stunning and the location excellent. The place was kitted out weigh very tasteful and good quality furnishings and bedding and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

A spotless property and everything was expected. Everything was clean and exceeded our expectations. Parking was easy and is walkable to the centre of Cheltenham. Would highly recommend.

Loved Clare’s place! Tastefully decorated, spacious and well equipped. Parking and walkable to the town and a fab Chinese takeaway around the corner. A tad cold, it was freezing when we got there but warmed up once the heating came on. Lovely character, would highly recommend!

Spent a lovely weekend at the Haven-In-the-Hills for a personal retreat weekend. It was perfect: peaceful and comfortable with all the necessities well appointed. The location was perfect for a walk in the Malvern Hills (and close enough to the high street for groceries, etc.). Loz was a great host- very responsive to questions. Will definitely come back again!

Lovely open plan living space with beautiful outlook across the lake. Plenty of room (esp. bathrooms) for a busy family. Set in well designed grounds with excellent facilities

We had a wonderful group stay at Anthony’s beautiful home. It is a unique property, rich in history and stunning interiors. The large garden was lovely to relax in and we enjoyed several local walks. The house is warm, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Anthony was kind and responsive from the start and could not do enough to help. We would recommend this property highly.

We spent an enjoyable long weekend celebrating a special birthday. There was ample room for all 10 of us. The views were great from all balconies, the hot tub was used and we enjoyed a bit of star gazing at night! You will enjoy the peace and quiet.

House was lovely. We spent Christmas week with multi generational family and it was perfect. Plenty of room and very comfortable. House was exactly as expected with lots of great amenities and tidy. We were able to prepare a full Christmas meal with everything there!. Lots of beautiful villages to explore nearby. Jan and Jamie were responsive and friendly and stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and settled. Definitely recommend.

We didn’t actually stay in the house we booked due to a fault with the heating. But the communication from the hosts was excellent and they sorted us an alternative very quickly and we couldn’t fault anything. Had the perfect weekend for a family celebration.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

Gorgeous and spacious house in a stunning Cotswolds location. My husband and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and so did our children. I can highly recommend it!
