Amanda’s place and garden were gorgeous in the early springtime and it was the perfect place to get ready for my wedding and take our first look pictures outside. Amanda was super quick to respond and was very accommodating to my last-minute request.

This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

I stayed here for a month. Toni ( and her partner ) helped me to make sure I had what I needed since it was not a typical short airbnb stay. They were very welcoming to me and my dogs. Their house is also very close to this property so they were always within reach. I felt like I had a mini vacation staying at their place. The place is very scenic and out of all chaos. I had a good cellular network coverage in their place. If you love horses, this will be a heaven for you :)

Loved the location! Close to amazing coffee shops, restaurants and right down the street from the harbor.

The guesthouse was a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing getaway. Lea provided clear instructions making check-in and everything else easy. She was highly communicative but also gave us the perfect amount of space to enjoy our stay.

I had an all-around good experience: easy, flexible check-in, friendly interaction, loved having the quiet of a separate cottage. Would happily re-book when next in the Bay Area.

This was an EXCELLENT Airbnb. Great value, beautiful property, plenty of privacy, exceptionally good instructions form the hosts. I can not recommend highly enough. Great place to recharge.

I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay, and interfacing with Tom. The place was clean, tranquil, and well appointed. Tom was responsive, flexible, and kind. To top it off, their two chickens were the quietest, cutest little beings to be adjacent to and were welcome companions on the property. It was such an oasis, comfortable bed, great desk, and could hear the creek just below the window. Will definitely return.

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The property is gorgeous. We were looking for a quiet getaway amongst the trees. We got that and more. Sitting on the patio in the morning drinking our coffee to the sounds of the creek below, surrounded by towering trees…it was everything we were looking for. The cabin is adorable and comfortable. The hosts were kind and responsive. It was quiet and secluded yet close to the ocean, restaurants and hiking.

I had a great stay! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and relaxed. Though the place is small it makes extremely good use of the room available. Being situated in the backyard, there is a good feeling of privacy and one can also be sitting outside for breakfast or to work. I can only recommend the place.

Perfect place for a quiet, secluded getaway. Loved the fact that there was no cell service at the cabin!

What a wonderful stay! We were visiting from the East Coast and had fond nostalgia of living in this neighborhood many years ago. Staying at this cozy, well appointed guesthouse made reliving those memories possible. Beth is such a lovely & responsive host: she made us feel right at home from an easy check-in to our very last day. The location is perfect! Easy walk to BART, Market Hall, and great restaurants. Thank you Beth (loved the coffee and popcorn too … all the right touches!)

This place was spotless, elegant, and very efficiently designed. Everything is brand new, including the kitchen with its glass cooktop (and cover) and bathroom (with its bidet). It was very easy getting in and there's off street parking. We appreciated the coffee and tea supplies that Melanie provided, and the bed was very comfortable. There was just enough space for the two of us and we plan to come back for longer stays, since our son lives a few blocks away. Thank you, Melanie!

It’s on chill Alameda! Everything is a quick drive, even getting to Oakland. Lots of places within walking distance, including & especially the South Shore beach. Gorgeous!

Floras place was exactly as described. I only stayed here for one night but the bed was comfy. Great AC unit, plenty of windows for fresh air. Flora was very communicative throughout the whole time leading up to check in. Overall great experience!

Location was very quiet and peaceful. The room is clean and well organized. The hospitality of host was great. If I have a next chance, I want to stay again.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful garden, responsive host, ample street parking. Definitely worth the price. Plus there's a hot tub you can use after the end of a long day or before the start of one like how we used. MINUTES away from bars, restaurants, and shopping in Oakland. Great location. We really enjoyed staying at Nanci’s place! The space is stylish and comfortable. Right outside the doors is a lovely garden with trees, plants and birds all around. The location is also great- a short walk to College Ave with plenty of shops and restaurants. Nanci was friendly and communicative- an all around lovely host. Would highly recommend!

Rockridge Casita is a lovely place to stay, centered just between Rockridge and Temescal, an easy walk to both. The casita is beautifully designed, well appointed with everything one needs for a good stay and a range of dining choices within walking distance. Perhaps my favorite is the delicious scent of the garden's jasmine and the orange and lemon trees just outside the door. Many great hikes a short drive away and lots to explore beyond.

Felt like it was just lke my home accept they have a hot tub that I used almost every night during my stay also had a beautiful garden. Is very quiet and relaxing.

Charming garden cottage with great location. Very close to vibrant commercial district yet very quiet and peaceful. Lots of street parking and close to transportation.

Lovely place in a fantastic location in the Berkeley Hills. With a partial bay view, it is an easy walk to lovely locations in the Hills, such as the Rose Garden. Close by is the "gourmet ghetto", with great restaurants and shops. There is a wonderful deck that is great to sit on when the weather is good. Bonnie, the host, was immediately responsive with all communications.
