My place is close to The Mall- about a two minute walk. It is located in the same building as Glenary's (owned by my family). It is right in the heart of the town centre where the action is. There is a kitchen, in case you want a quiet night and make your own dinner; or you could just walk upstairs to Glenary's and treat yourself in the cafe or restaurant. It is compact and cosy - good for couples and solo adventurers. It’s been recently renovated with a brand new bathroom and shower.

She's a grand old lady, restored with care: her stairs creak, her doors don't quite close, her floors have the patina of a hundred years. Outside, the wind rises and trees sway like drunks going home. To the north, the Himalayas beckon as the fireplace warms cold fingers after a walk to the monastery. You could book a room for yourself through our website or the whole house here for an economical fare. Come and see the Old Place while staying in its new space.

“Izom Him” A sunset and tea garden view stay.

We are located at about 3 kms away from market area, near Happy Valley Tea Factory. It is most suitable for those looking for a relaxing stay away from the chaos of the crowd. It is motorable, and at a walking distance from Happy Valley Tea Factory, a renowned and must-visit tourist spot. However due to rainfall, a short patch of road has been deteriorated hence we do not encourage guests planning to ride/drive themselves.
