Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Skyros

Great place out of season, no other tourists, great beach and lovely fully equipped first floor flat. Basic food essentials provided , two toilets and comfortable beds. Anna's mum ( qui parle un peu français) was really friendly and helpful. We arrived in the dark on foot and it was bit tricky finding the right property, but if you want peace and quiet it's a small price to pay !

It was a real experience to stay at Nikos' house, it is very traditional. Mind your head though if you are over 1.80 tall. Nikos is a real super host and I loved every single minute of my two week stay here, but if you're looking for luxury don't book it. If you would like to experience a traditional house on Skyros, you must book it. Everything is on walking distance, if you walk well. Thank you Nikos for your hospitality!

This was our second stay, which says it all! Lovely house with a shaded terrace on the ground floor and a balcony with a fabulous view on the top floor. The house is above the town so it’s peaceful, but it’s only a short walk away. Getting to the beach is also easy. Communication was excellent.

🙏🏻!!! Perfect for me and two teenagers. Could have accommodated more people. Just up the hill from Calypso which, arguably, is the center of the universe. 🙂.

Fantastic stay, the hosts were wonderful, even though we never met them, we still felt very looked after. They even give us gifts of local delights. The location is perfect access to town and the beach, but still very quiet. We felt like locals staying in this perfect traditional home of the skyrians. I’ve been coming to Skyros for 40 years and this was my favourite experience. We highly recommend this place.

The house is a small paradise. Inside the pines in the greenest part of the island and just fifty meters from the sea. Konstantinos very helpful and available immediately when we needed. The space is exactly what the photos show. We had a great time thanks for the beautiful stay.

Very well equipped holiday house in Molos, with seaview, many outdoor areas and lush greenery. The owner is very proactive and helpful.

We stayed with Nadia and her family for 2 weeks and it was a real joy, all in bohemian and simplicity. The view from the apartment is beautiful, it is conveniently located between Kalamitsa and Linaria, a quiet place away from any tourist overcrowding. After browsing the whole island for a month, this is the place we preferred and will definitely be back in. We would like to thank Nikos, Soula, Dimitris and Nadia for all their little touches and for the time they have givenus.

We stayed at Mary's place for a week, two persons; and the place was a perfect choice for our trip to Skyros. Its location is very convenient, at the start of the pedestrian road through Skyros' beautiful Chora, near the bus and taxi station and close to grocery stores, etc. And despite all the activity in the area, the house is very quiet. The place is spacious, good for more than two persons. It was perfectly clean and very well equipped. The WiFi was fast and there is a TV screen. And beyond the AC, the bedroom has a ceiling fan, which we liked. The terrace is very beautiful, with a large table under a lemon tree and with sufficient shade during most of the daytime. Best, we loved the hospitality of Mary's grandmother. Mrs Maria welcomed us cordially, showed us the place, offered us home-made orange pie and gave us some fruits. Plus, it was easy to reach her for any questions we had. In total, we loved our stay at Mary's place; and we will choose it again in another trip to Skyros.

Kalliopi is excellent, very communicative, friendly and very willing to help with everything, from instructions to find the house to suggestions for restaurants, beaches, exit for drinks, etc. The house is wonderful, sparkling clean in all areas, soft beds, double pillows to everyone! Equipped with everything from espresso machine to ironing board! Delightful beds, sparkling white sheets, fuzzy scent towels, you feel like you're in your own home! Splendid view from the balconies of the house, from the front you see the Castle and from the back the houses of Chora from above! It is in the Country right in front of all the shops, you come out and you are in the alleys of Chora, but at the same time it is quiet there is no noise upstairs. Very kind to welcome Kalliopi with Skyrian sweets! Skyros is a very beautiful island and especially Chora magic! I plan to come back to Kalliopi of course! Kalliopi, thank you all for your hospitality and a comfortable stay!

Everything was great. Irini welcomed us very warmly. The entire time we stayed there was very discreet. Fantastic view from the balcony. The tavern of K. Stamatia next to the accommodation was one of the best on the island and from prices and flavors!

Our stay at this home was really great! From the very first moment, Mrs. Katerina greeted us with a warm smile and was always willing to help us with what we needed. He gave us very useful information about the island, making our stay even more pleasant. The room was super clean and comfortable, and the location quiet, offering the perfect escape from everyday life. Plus the view was gorgeous and really helped us relax. We highly recommend staying at Mrs. Katerina's accommodation to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience on the island!

Very good stay. Welcoming host. We've communicated through the Viber app. Free and easy street parking (one way street and parking on both sides of the street). Somewhat noisy street. Coffee shop right next door. 2 bakeries within walking distance. 10 min/30min from the different climbing areas. 15min from the sea. Gas station 2min away. Grocery store at the entrance to the village with very decent prices. The bedding of the 2 beds will need to be changed.

Great studio apartment, hot shower, very comfortable bed, right above the climbing shop, short drive to climbing sectors. Large balcony for morning sun, numerous cafes and shops nearby. We would definitely stay here again. Just a note, we missed it in the listing info, wifi is not included.

Hélène's place is really tred clean and tidy! Check-in and check-out are very easy as there is a box (code) for the key. Hélène and the villagers welcomed us very well and offered us different Greek specialties. She was very nice and was responsive and available. Notice to gourmands, the village is rich in bakeries, bars and contains some supermarkets as well as butchers. In the morning, a good smell of boulabgerie comes to awaken our senses, yum! We had a very pleasant stay!
