Youth hostel Ars Viva - Bed in a shared room

ElizabethRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I loved staying here! The rooms are cosy and clean, kitchen is huge and full of everything you need. There is parking, and good wifi. The area is beautiful and so fresh, and a small village is a 30 minute walk away with a good shop, cafes and petrol. Reception has friendly people there to help with anything. I didn’t want to leave.

Youth hostel Ars Viva - Doubleroom privatebathroom

SerhiiRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Peaceful place in the mountains. Extremely clean. I wouldn't even call it hostel, it is like a hotel with all need + kitchen space 👍. I heard people from the kitchen, but they left it after 22:00 and I also have white noise machine, so I don't have problems with such noise anymore. I would stay there again and recommend this place!

This Youth Hotel is super cool and eco-friendly. Your will find all what to need to recycle and compost your waste. There are solar pannels on the roofs and a free charging station for electrical car. Employees are nice and very efficient. Highly recommanded. And close from the… bears

12 Bed Mixed Dorm @ControVento2 - Free breakfast

MIRYANGRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The entrance to the listing can be a little confusing. You can see the name of the accommodation in the door bell by looking at the Google map! When I opened the entrance to the building, the entrance was so beautiful that it was very nice. It's an old building, so there's no elevator! If you have big luggage, it can be a little difficult to go up. (If you have a lot of luggage, I think you can ask for it at the accommodation and I'll help you.) First of all, the accommodation had the best view of the hostel I've ever stayed in. I don't know about the other rooms, but the mixed dorm room I stayed in was right in front of the sea, so the view from the old window was really beautiful. I loved the sea so much that I was really happy with the view from the window when I woke up in the morning. I had the best memories of my trip to Europe. The day I stayed was not the season, but there weren't many guests, so I was lucky to be able to stay in the bed right in front of the window. Thank you Nikita for a great spot! I really liked her fashion style. The house is close to Trieste Center, so you can walk everywhere. There are lots of places to drink and eat nearby, and there's a supermarket right next door. And there is a Stephen McCurry exhibition right in front of the accommodation. Above all, it's close to the square where the city hall is, so it feels really good to walk around. I think it was about a 20-minute walk from the Trieste bus and train terminal. There is also a bus stop near the accommodation, so it is very convenient. There were two large bathrooms close to the room, so there was no problem with the shower (but there were no towels and a dryer. If you ask the counter, I think you can rent it for a fee), and the bedding was also clean overall. Also, the breakfast was great as breakfast. I thought it wasn't cheap for a hostel in Trieste. Cleanliness, friendliness, and view were all satisfactory. Thank you!

Ray Charles room

MartinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Extremely welcoming and friendly host. The hostel is situated in a nice neighborhood with public transportation nearby. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen allows to cook a nice breakfast before leaving which is quite nice. Think to bring earplug with you as the pub downstairs can be a bit noisy. I'd come back !

Hostel Idrija, zasebna dvoposteljna soba

ShannonRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Excellent value, and a unique building that matches the photos. Easy parking in a private lot, and pleasant walk to the mercury museum and town square with bars, restaurant, and live music in the summer. I stayed for 2 nights, driving to Lipica and Skocjan cave (approximately 1 hour each way), and spending most of the second day in Idrijia.
