Cottage holiday rentals in Snowy Mountains

Great weekend away, cute, comfy and super clean cottage within walking distance of town. Excellent brewery/distillery right next door with fabulous gin and delicious pizzas - definately recommend a visit if staying. Can also recommend The Elms restaurant just a short walk across the road.

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

Great place on a peaceful farm. Really well appointed kitchen. So many positives with it and the hosts were very kind and welcoming.

If I could, I’d leave 10 stars instead of 5! This place is absolutely exceptional. The house is beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure maximum comfort for guests. The highlight of my stay was the home-cooked meals offered by the host – delicious, fresh, and made with love, adding a truly unique touch to the experience. The host was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. The house is located in a peaceful area on the stunning Australian countryside, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This is without a doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

We had the most incredible stay at Peter's place - this is a true 5 star property. So private and peaceful, the property truly has everything you could imagine needing. Want to hang your bathers on the line - of course there are pegs! Want to cook a simple dinner - of course the kitchen has every imaginable item you'd need! Fancy plastic glasses to use in the spa - of course they are there! The beds were so comfortable with every choice of pillow and ceiling fans to keep cool. We had a fantastic stay, and would highly recommend this property. The spa was an absolute highlight, crystal clear water and perfect temperature. We'd love to stay again! Mel's house was fantastic. A superb location, easy drive into town, soery peaceful. The house has everything we needed with a really well stocked pantry. Outdoors was fabulous with the spa, firepit and sauna all great fun. The spa, in particular, was great after a long day hiking. We'd highly recommend staying at this place when in the area

This place is amazing. Lovely peaceful surroundings often visited by local wildlife. The cottage is so well designed, spacious, clean, modern. Highly recommend! Would be very cosy in winter.

Gary's place is great and is very well looked after. The location is a few min drive from the Jindabyne centre with easy access to the shops, restaurants and the Jindabyne Lake. The cottage is far from the road, so it's really quiet and peaceful there. There's also lots of wildlife, so birdwatchers and anyone who loves nature and animals would have a great time. 4 of us were travelling +our small dog, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. We'd love to stay here again some time.

Amazing stay in moonbah for our family skii trip. Richards house had everything that we needed, in a beautiful picturesque spot, super comfy beds, we would definitely visit again. Perfect place for older teens with the loft retreat, from Moonbah we explored Berridale, Dalgety and Jindabyne close to all amenities and 40 mins to Perisher. Thanks Richard for being a great host and we will miss your little fluffy highland 🐮

We had a family holiday in Adaminaby and we had a great time over the 8 days. We got to bring our dog which was great. The house was stocked and had everything ready for us. The garden is incredible, probably the best part of the place. A couple small issues we had were with opening the windows when it was hot (we didn’t find an aircon) because mozzies and flies just swarmed in as there are no fly nets. Also the door handles are rustic and a bit clunky so when someone goes to the toilet at night they may wake up others. Besides that, everything was brilliant, ideal for winter. Would definitely recommend!

My partner, dog and myself had a great time staying at Bimblegumbie. Beautiful little cottage amongst others but with plenty of privacy. Sculptures, installations and gardens galore. A small oasis for creatives enjoying something more unique than the average place out there. Very welcoming as were all the doggos with mine. She felt she’d found her pack and was super reluctant to get into the car when it was time to go.

Super nice views of the lake, only 7-8 mins into the nearest town and close to Selwyn snowfields (which is why I chose to stay here). Careful driving in/out early/late at night, LOTS of animals on the roads (cool for my passengers!). Was provided a free loaf of super nice sourdough bread upon arrival (which I enjoyed!) The house was warm, and the host offered to restock the wood fire each day (it was winter) and it was lovely coming back to a super warm/toasty place. Beds were comfortable, although one of the 'rooms' is just a corner with a curtain so not super private but for a family it's fine. Host was super responsive and helpful. No wifi, which is described in the listing - but I had 0 Vodafone reception (Telstra was OK) so if this is important to you you should consider this. This did give my kids a chance to experience using a DVD player for the first time in their life! haha (great choice of movies). Would stay here again.

This Airbnb experience far surpassed our expectations. James and Sharon are the most hospitable lovely couple we have ever met, putting so many thoughtful and amazing touches to the accomodation and overall experience. The fire was going, spa heated and kettle boiled on arrival, there was so much old charm to the cottage but with all contemporary convenience. The farm and surrounds is spectacular. With the backdrop of the mountains, sheep, cows and ducks, and absolute peace and quiet you feel completely recharged. I can highly recommend !!
