The accommodation is of quality and is in a quiet and peaceful environment. It is located close to accesses to the train station highway and shops.

The house was actually a little better than the pictures, more than expected.Large space, three rooms on the second floor, very clean, and comfortable beds.There is a kitchen and living room on the first floor and a double bed in the living room.The area around the house is a small forest, the air is really good, the area is a supermarket for five or six minutes by car.Would highly recommend for group stay. Good host

We had a four day stay at this beautiful place. The charming half-timbered house in the Bergisches Land is furnished with a lot of love for detail and equipped with everything you need (especially with children). For children, there is also an ample range of games - to the delight of all guests. The owners Andrea and Axel are warm and gave us great (child-friendly) tips for excursions in the area. Family communication and check-in went smoothly. We will be happy to come back. Great recommendation!

This house is simply magical, with an incomparable atmosphere. There was always something to discover, as Flavia has equipped this retreat with attention to the details. You felt immediately welcome and didn't want to leave. From the cleanliness to the amenities, everything perfect. I especially liked the absolute tranquility and the beautiful view. No matter where you were, the view of the countryside was sure. You live there with nature and surrounded by magnificent hiking trails. The wonderful conservatory invited you to birdwatching-)))) A real place of strength. It was a short but worthwhile stay, which I will definitely repeat soon. Really kind people and lovely place to stay

Great place. We were only there for a few days, but made us feel at home. Small but fine, it's pretty good. Good location to Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach and nothing was missing. Alex is a good host, we would come back anytime.

Very kind welcome by Herbert. Big nice homey apartment, with several rooms and heating already on upon arrival, lovely after traveling. Kitchen view on the large garden, a beer in the fridge and very clean bathroom. (Big if you’re used to Amsterdam, for some people toilet might be a bit less accessible). Wouldn’t have mind to stay longer. Thank you Herbert!

It was all to our best satisfaction. If we have to go to Witten again, we'll be happy to come back. A mango - the place was unfortunately too cold and we couldn't regulate the temperature. 20° are clearly too cold at night minus clearly..

We stayed 3 nights in Reinhold and Hermine's apartment, we loved everything! Great hosts, super friendly and nice! Everything is sparkling clean and well equipped. We are totally happy and would be happy to come back. Until next time, a clear recommendation!

Everything was better than described and in the adjacent forest, which is quickly accessible through the garden, we were all able to really unwind. The exchange with Eva via Airbnb Chat went smoothly before and during the stay. She always gave timely answers when questions came up. If you love it simple and robust, this is the place to be. The wonderful wood-burning stove always gave me wonderful warmth during the 5 relatively cold days of the stay (Feb/March). In the accommodation is everything you need for daily work in the household. I also especially enjoyed the silence of nature, the proximity to the animals and the extensive forests. Thank you very much for getting to know this magical place.

We stayed at the cabin for 2 nights and enjoyed it extremely much! The cabin is very cozy and if it rains and you sit in the warm hot tub yourself, you never want to get out😊! The bathroom is extremely high quality furnishings and we would have liked to have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for an escape, the conservatory is a beautiful place to work or read a book, and Beate was very helpful! Highly recommend
