Holiday rentals with lake access in South Bradenton

We were in the area to celebrate my mother's 100th birthday with family. Steve's place provided a close and relaxing place to stay between family events. We did not have the opportunity to explore the outdoor amenities but the indoor space was perfect. It was clean with comfortable furniture including the king-size bed. We appreciated that there were coffee pods, shampoo and soap, paper towels, napkins and a Brita water pitcher in the fridge. The bathroom is small but was clean and with good shower water pressure. The place was quiet. Steve was responsive to questions and sent very detailed instructions prior to check-in. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great getaway! My family & friends appreciated and enjoyed our time at this home. It's a quiet and safe neighborhood. The home is spacious, comfortable with large windows for a view of the pond. Definitely returning for future stays!

Great place, great host. Enjoyed surroundings the peace and quiet. Very comfortable has everything you need, great shower in the master, with 2 other bathrooms. updated appliances and a huge tv. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We came down for spring training and really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised and clean. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back!

Finding the house was very easy. Unlocking the door was very easy. Locking the door from the outside took a few tries to get the deadbolt in position. The house was very nice and in good condition. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and kitchenware. Master bedroom was nice, but the electric outlets were difficult to get find. Outside needs a little love but overall in good shape and well landscaped. Inside decor was very Florida outdoorsy/surfer with some really interesting decor to look at and a cool hightop table to eat at. Taylor was a very good and responsive host. Had the house ready early and even let me stay a little later if needed. Checkout list was super easy to do. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would consider staying again.

The house/location/amenities were all as advertised—very clean and included everything you could need. We loved the fenced in yard, canal water access, and available kayaks. We will recommend to family and friends.

Lorena was a very accommodating host. Instructions were clear, and the location was easy to find. Having access to the canal and kayaks was a huge plus. Would recommend.

Overall nice place and nice location, place was clean at check in, plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 children, only issue was internet kept going out, thankfully we bring our own internet when we travel (if you have kids you know), and pool wasn't "heated" as advertised, one of the main reason we picked this house, it is solar heated which means it is only warm when it is hot outside, being from the Midwest and having an actual heated pool at home the expectation was the same so it was a bit of disappointment for the kids, host did update the listing halfway through our stay to reflect this though, overall the place in nice in a nice safe and quiet location, it was clean at check in and host was responsive so they still get 5 stars.

Sylvie’s place was clean, fairly spacious yet casual. The bed was comfortable. Great view of the pool and backyard. Lots to do in the area. Good value. Sylvie was so friendly and interesting. Would go back.

Better and less expensive then most hotels. Very comfortable, nice bathrooms, and friendly interior.

Loved my stay will most definitely book again! It was sooo beautiful by the lake and I loved that we could kayak. John and Jill were very responsive as well.

Excellent location and apartment. Everything was spotless and nice. Very comfy and beautiful view from the master bedroom. Definitely worth the price. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

Awesome host and home!

What a lovely place to stay! Everything we needed was right at our fingertips…we appreciated the labeled light switches and cupboard doors and how well thought out everything was. We spent some very relaxing hours on the patio, overlooking the bay—that was a great perk. Ginger and John were there to greet us, after allowing us to check in early and made our stay a pleasant one. We are keeping this spot on our favorites list for next time.

The place was airy and spacious, plenty of room to spread out, we especially loved hanging out on the front porch in the morning and evening. The shower was fantastic, the bathtub big and unusual. We walked to the Dali Museum and the Pier and to Central. Also a very cute cafe just up the block next to the pond, which was also cute. I also played pickleball at crescent lake. There wasn’t a lot of space for suitcases in the bedrooms, but then there was a big dressing room in the back. The light switches were in odd places but we got used to it. Parking was tight, but we always managed a spot within a block.

Enjoyed our stay for the weekend! Very clean and quiet, the hot tub was an awesome bonus!!! Host was very responsive and welcoming!! Location was AMAZING within walking distance to so much! Thank you!!

Nice little place. Bed was very comfortable for us. Great having the dock across the road. Beautiful sunsets over the river. Debra was very responsive of any inquiries we had.

We people think we know it all by reading half the instructions.1674 took me to the office. This was 12.00 am. After some time i gave up and decided to read everything on how to get in. We found it in a few minutes.🤣. Had a very rrlaxing time. Mark

Very cute small cabins on the boardwalk, cannot beat the view. I did not realize these are reserved thru the county so you have to check in at the Outpost desk where they are also taking food/drink orders and selling bait. There is live music on site every weekend. Check the outpost’s social media page for events.

We love staying at Jigg’s Landing! This was our third time staying here now. The cabins are cute and clean. The facilities are also very clean. We saw staff always keeping and maintaining the showers, restrooms and cabins. There are space heaters for the cold months which was great! Great coffee, great food cooked fresh. I love the porches overlooking the lake. It’s always a relaxing stay here. We also love the live music in the evenings. I feel like Jigg’s is a hidden treasure! Thank you for the stay!

This was our second year of spending a month at Aileen's place. Again, it was so perfect for my husband and I. We did have guests stay for a couple of nights and the air mattress is REALLY nice! Everything about the space is so wonderful. Clean, cute, everything you would need for a month. It is also close to so many beaches (Fort Desoto Park ( our favorite), St. Pete's beach, and Anna Maria Island beaches. It's close to all that Bradenton, St. Petersburg and Sarasota have to offer. We felt right at home the day we arrived and it was hard to say good-bye. We definitely hope to visit again!

Great staycation for my husband and me. Glamping at its finest. We will be back!

Tim and Jeannie are the best hosts ever! Communication and local recommendations are top notch! If you are like us, you’ll be on the go because Saint Petersburg offers so much with arts, culture and outdoor recreation that most of the time was being out and about. However, when you get back, you’ll feel like you’re at home and everything you need is right there! Sleep in and eat breakfast at the cottage, come back early and watch a movie or hit the hot tub or just do another load of laundry and hit the beach one more time! It’s so convenient and the best location ever! Thank you Tim and Jeannie :)
