Holiday rentals with breakfast in South Croydon

Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Lovely stay, me and boyfriend was in the area for Tulleys Farm Shocktober festival, and wanted to make the weekend out of it. We did a hike on Saturday which was beautiful and then ended up in the Fox pub which was so warming and casual, then off to the festival later that evening - all in all a very humble weekend. And staying in this lovely home made it even better!

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The three bedrooms were perfect for our family of four, the kitchen and living areas are beautiful, and the house was stocked with lots of thoughtful extras (from cereal and pasta to extra toiletries). The house is less than 10 minutes on foot (even with baggage in tow) from Paddington Station, which made it a great location for hopping on the tube to explore various neighborhoods, and is tucked away on a quiet side street with no city noise. Muhiddin was super responsive and helpful when we reached out, both before our stay and during our time there! We would definitely stay here again when in London!

Mara is a wonderful host she has a lovely house I found the whole experience really good, very clean comfy bed, a nice room & Mara is extremely helpful & nice five stars from me.

This was a stress-free stay in Esher, close enough to the downtown area and activities, perfectly located. The flat was comfortable, very clean, and the bottle of prosecco was appreciated! Highly recommend!

This flat was very comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen was well appointed and fully functional. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The location was very convenient to portabello road and it’s many shops and eateries and convenient to bus and tube lines. Check in and out were easy.

We spent a week at Wim’s place, and a few things stood out. Wim is a warm and excellent communicator. His directions were very clear and useful, and he made recommendations for local activities as well. He’s very responsive and it was very easy for us to get in touch with him anytime before and during the trip. The location is fantastic! 2-3 minutes walk from Leicester square station, and with plenty of walkable streets and things to do! The apartment itself was very practical and very nicely stocked. We really felt at home coming back to the apartment after busy days of walking and sightseeing. If back in London, will surely book it again!

Enzo and his mom are incredibly helpful and friendly. When we faced issues with the electricity, they would help us immediately. They are also very caring and did their best to ensure we are comfortable and satisfied with the stay. They are super generous with food and would sometimes bring down pizza for us. Thank you for having us and we had fun staying over! We would book again if we are staying in London! ❤️

Our family (2 adults with 3 teenagers) stayed at Jen & Matt’s place for 6 nights in March 2025. It was perfect for us. Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. We were on an early arriving flight and they allowed us early access to the flat, which was a lifesaver for that first day. The flat is in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood with the beautiful Queen’s Park nearby. It is totally outside of the hustle and bustle of London, but right on the Bakerloo Line which allows super easy access to all the sights. It is also on the Lionness line which takes you directly to Watford Junction where you catch the shuttle to Warner Bros Studios to visit the Harry Potter sets. It couldn’t be better situated in my opinion. Jen & Matt provided milk, eggs, butter, jam, crumpets, tea and coffee to get us started, which was a really nice touch. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so it was easy to buy groceries. I did a load of laundry and everything worked fine. Highly recommend!

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Very good location and close to the city center. It is very convenient because there is a M&S nearby. The metro station is only 5 min and you could take the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus within 20 min. Anna is very helpful and responsive to questions.

Perfect stay! Gocke's place is perfect in every way: - welcoming - cozy - practical Gocke welcomed us with his children to explain everything to us and even give us advice on the neighborhood. We loved Highams Park ❤️ The apartment is located 100 m from the overground, opposite a large supermarket. the neighborhood is quiet but lively: we tested 2 Turkish restaurants, an Indian and a traditional pub: excellent! Access to London is very easy. We were delighted to come home in the evening to peace and quiet after big days in town and find this nice little neighborhood! Thanks Gocke! A stay with Deborah is highly recommended, everything was spot on, we appreciated a place to park even beyond our check out time. Deborah is friendly interesting and welcoming, we'd definitely visit again if we're on the area and it isn't booked out. Thank you.

Fiona was a stellar host. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very much enjoyed chatting to Fiona over breakfast and appreciated any advice given on how to get around the city. An amazing experience which we would be happy to repeat when going back to London. Many thanks!

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

John & Mandy were great host. They kept our rooms ready with fresh towels and napkins. The space is filled with personal pictures and has a great character of its own. John was kind to make us proper English breakfast and made us feel really comfortable and special throughout our stay.

Patricia's house is lovely. My two teens and I stayed in three rooms at the top floor. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms very clean. The house has lots of historical features and is nicely decorated. Patricia made sure we had a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cakes and croissant. Polesden Lacey is only a 30-min walk from the house and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for long nice walks. Nice spot for visiting this part of England.

Trish has been a great host, the house was spotless and she has provided so many little extra's that you just do not normally get. I will defiantly look to stay again when back working in the area.

A wonderful cottage in a great location surrounded by good pubs and eating places. Easy to find with good parking facilities. The cottage is fabulous much better than we could ever have imagined, peaceful and relaxing with fantastic views. The owner has considered all your needs to ensure a perfect stay. The breakfast food was terrific much more than expected. We were disappointed that we only booked 5 nights, next time we will certainly stay longer.
