Family-friendly holiday rentals in South Karelia

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

We had a magical stay. Everything is beautiful, the setting, the accommodation, the beach, the sona... even better than the photos suggest. Uta is a very considerate host, and kind and willing to give good advice on things to do nearby. i highly recommend it. if we have the opportunity we will be happy to come back.

We are company of nine friends and every year we have bicycle hike in some great location. This year we chose Lappenranta area. We spent three days at Viktor's place and it was great vacation. The location, sauna and terrace are amazing. The house is spacious and the host was very helpful.

It is beautiful and restful place near lake. The house had everything you need for relaxing by the lake (boat, sauna, grill), it is well-equipped house. I totally recommend it.

We had wonderful days in the snow in this great house, the view over the lake and the tranquility are fantastic. Kristian and his family are very kind and helpful and always available. The house is very well equipped (there are even bathrobes of various sizes) and sauna and hot tub are great. We will come back very gladly.

An unforgettable experience! The house is built in a typical Finnish style, including a large terrace, sauna, kitchen with everything you need and three beds. We had come at 5, and the stay was very pleasant. Anne welcomed us very warmly and explained everything to us at the beginning of our stay. The fishing boat and the fresh eggs of the hens were a real plus. We'll be happy to go back!

Comfortable cottage with nice space. Swim access to the ski slope from the lower station about 300m from the pier. It was peaceful in every way.

quiet place are 3 cottages a few tens of meters from each other in a secluded area with access to the small but fishy lake surrounded by woods. near the magnificent punkaharju esker and comfortable (about 1h by car) from parks such as kolovesi and linnansaari. about 1 hour from laappenranta airport. Valentin, the manager is very kind and helpful. Recommended.

Great house and communication thanks

Beautiful cottage, on the edge of a perfectly peaceful lake. Nothing is missing, Maksimilian even provided a fishing kit. A boat allows you to enjoy the lake. Finally, a very pleasant sauna is also available.

Excellent place to stay, quiet location but not far from town centre . All facilities in the house you need. Great communication with hosts. Good price. Highly recommended.

Very big house. Large parking in the yard. Excellent sauna. I was surprised to have a pool in the house, but unfortunately it was empty. The linens and towels are not new, but very clean. The furniture needs updating, but then the rental price will be completely different. The stay was great. Great value for money.

Everything was perfect. The location is great, close to hiking trails and the beach. The apartment was very cozy, cozy, and clean. Good guidelines. Larisa wanted us to have a good time.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

The property is excellent.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

Visa & Noora were very gracious hosts. They responded to messages very quickly and comprehensively. Their instructions were also extensive and varied. The place is really nice and quiet, so we got to ourselves. Very good for a large group with space for everyone and things to do! Strong recommendation for hosts and the listing!
