Holiday rentals with a fireplace in South Padre Island

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandra and William's place. The space is lovely, and we had room to spread out. Some highlights include: (1) The main living room had lots of light and windows, opening up into a spacious deck. (2) Kitchen was well-stocked with cooking gear/basic staples, so we were able to cook several meals "in" with ease. (3) Bedroom was comfortable, and we slept very well. (4) Location was great, overlooking the water, and also easily walkable to many restaurants, stores, and the iconic lighthouse. The hosts Sandra and William were also great, and communicated promptly when we had questions. There was a minor weather-related glitch, and they went above-and-beyond in making things up to us, with a very thoughtful and gracious gesture of recompense. If the location suits your needs, their place is an EXCELLENT value, and the hosts were SUPERB.

Fabulous! Private, quiet, and what a beautiful view. All the small touches made a difference: beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage so you can head out for the day. Close to everything: 25 minutes to the beautiful beaches on South Padre Island, 15 minutes to grocery stores, 5 minutes from the pool and clubhouse. You can walk in the gated community for miles. We came for a quiet getaway and it was perfect. Comfortable beds, comfortable and spacious living spaces. The host was so responsive when we needed anything or had questions, and came over within minutes to show us how to use something. Highly recommend for your trip down here!

Great location, walkable distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Semi-private pool with grill and seating area is an added bonus after a day at the beach.

Gorgeous home!! Very happy with our stay

Amanda's place exceeded our expectations - it was very thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was spotless; the furniture and appliances design was very pleasant and neat. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace and upstairs balcony, watching a multitude of pelicans, herons, seagulls and ducks. The location of the house is very adavantageous - a few minutes drive to South Padre and all tourist attractions of Port Isobel.

Casita By The Texas Bay should definitely be your top choice! It is minutes near major stores, restaurants and South Padre Island. Ironically, you will feel secluded and able to enjoy the nature of the coast. The community was peaceful. In regards to cleanliness, I'm extremely selective. Yet, I was beyond satisfied with how well kept it is. With 3 bedrooms, it is very ample. It was stocked with necessities, and the check-in instructions were very clear. The backyard has a gorgeous view of the bay and island, and we even got a clear view of the fireworks Friday night. Aside from being the most perfect accommodation I've made at South Padre, Space X was the cherry on top. I went to the island for a wedding this weekend, but was blessed to witness the historic Space X launch. The front porch has a great view of the rocket's ascent to space. Close enough to feel and hear its magnificent roar of human accomplishment. I wish I could say more! From my family and I, THANK YOU Rocio!

My family had a great stay, and I would highly recommend this place. The hostess is easy to reach and responds promptly.

The house was very clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen was equipped with everything. Only thing I would add is an air fryer. Kitchen dining and living room are spacious. Great tv apps/programing. Loved that there was a big beach wagon with chairs and boogie board. Awesome place.

Very beautiful home with a great location on the island. Plenty of space and lovely home. Would definitely choose to stay here again!
