Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South West Wales

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

Terris and Ken were very friendly and really helpful, their place is lovely.

Leonie and Manoah are AirBnB hosts of the old school. It is people like them who keep me on this platform. I had a relaxing time at their place, which almost felt like home to me. Leonie and Manoah are very kind and care a lot for the well-being of their guests. Honestly, the two alone are worth a visit to Swansea. Thank you for that!

I couldn’t recommend Fiona and her lovely air BnB ‘the arches’ more. We had a fantastic stay, Fiona and her partner couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The air BnB is even better than the pictures, and the location is fantastic for exploring the beautiful national park. There are local pubs that you can walk to for dinner and drinks, as well as great amenities for cooking at the air BnB. This was one of my favourite air BnB’s I’ve ever stayed in, don’t hesitate to get it booked.

Honestly can say this was the best experience of an Airbnb myself and partner had. A very warm welcome, treated like a part of the family. The room was very spacious and a lovely bathroom. Comfortable bed and the added teas, coffees, biscuits were a great touch. The breakfast was out of this world. Everything you could of asked for. What a lovely experience, thank you Sarah and Mark. We will visit again.

Very cozy, little apartment. Perfect for hiking around and exploring breacon beacons, even if without a car. Lynne was very helpful and friendly and even left a little breakfast, which was very helpful

This place is wonderful! If you want to be in silence, I recommend it. Don't expect modernity, this is a place to go back to the past. The interiors are simple, without any unnecessary novelties. The fireplace provides a romantic atmosphere. Time has stopped here, it's a good place to clear your mind. The owner has a lot of knowledge about the area and can help with planning yours trips around.

Rhian's place is in a lovely spot, nice and quiet. All you could need is catered for in your room with fantastic breakfasts in the morning. Rhian was really helpful in giving information on places to visit. Lovely place, would recommend to anyone.

Lovely clean home with lovely host. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely breakfast served with homemade jams on offer also.

I was in Tenby for the Ironman and this was the perfect place for me. There is a lovely trail walk about 2.5kms to Tenby off the roads. Jack and his family were amazing hosts that couldn’t do enough for me, I was made to feel welcome and spent ages chatting away. I was so glad to be there for the weekend and the Ironman. Room is lovely and easy to get to without the hassle of being in Tenby itself. A huge thanks to Jack and family for having me, would definitely book again! Matt

We went for a visit to Pembrokeshire National Coast, the location of the house is great since you can go to main routes along the Coast, the house and garden are beautiful, the room was very cosy and spotless. Julian and Jayne were very welcoming, and we felt at home from the beginning, it was a great meeting them, thanks for having us!

Margaret was a lovely friendly host. The views from our bedroom were stunning. Everything was clean and tidy, a lovely place to stay with a super host.

We had a very pleasant stay at Viv's vegan B&B on our round trip through Wales. The room is very nicely designed and furnished. Everything looks very harmonious and the view of the sea is beautiful. The room is very quiet. We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is close to New Quay. You can go on a dolphin watching tour from there. The vegan breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Viv is a very warm host. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful location-great to walk Hergest Ridge. Accommodation was great - everything we could need. Sarah and Dave are great hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Pub attached was perfect with great ( musical when we were there ) atmosphere 👍🍺

Really enjoyed our stay at Lindsey and Paul's smallholding. there was plenty of things provided for breakfast, but we couldn't resist the cooked breakfasts. I think we picked one of the coldest few days of the year so far, so it was lovely to have the woodburner to come back to after a chilly trip out. Lindsey and Paul were very helpful and friendly, and I would certainly consider visiting again. Highly recommend a visit.

Very nice stay with Julie. Tea on arrival was very welcome and after my long walk. Breakfast timed to accommodate my walk starting times. Lots of choice at breakfast. Great location in centre of Crickhowell. Very quiet and peaceful.

The stay in Hay-on-Wye was made all the better by Vicky and Rob's hospitality. A great place, quiet and so convenient to the surrounding area. If you are a fan of books, this village is the perfect place to explore.

Stayed as part of the wye valley walk. Slept well and breakfast next morning was good and set us up for the next day.

Fantastic stay - the rooms were clean and the host and owner were both so friendly. Very quiet and the pub downstairs was great. They provided snacks and teas/coffee/juices for the morning. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area

We had a great stay at Claudine & David’s place, they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the bed very comfy with a lovely view out to sea. The location was perfect for exploring the local sites - you can walk to Lynton and the valley of the rocks (the vernacular railway is within a 5 min walk if you don’t fancy climbing the hill!)

The hut is very lovely Peaceful with great views to wake up to Breakfast is generous and much appreciated Bathroom is warm and the whole hut is clean and cozy

We had such an amazing stay! John and Nigel were so lovely and greeted us both when we arrived and at breakfast,they were both so helpful!! The cottage was beautiful and I couldn’t fault a single thing, it was so clean and made us feel right at home and the scenery around was stunning! We wished we were staying longer!!

Anita was really friendly and helpful and she and Leo the dog made us very welcome, she even did breakfast birthday candles and sang happy birthday to my partner in Welsh. Stunning location and views, very near the waterfall trail, also lots of local pubs to choose from. The room was absolutely spotless and thoughtfully decorated and very comfy bed. Highly recommend.
