Great flat. Very clean and welcoming. Close to local restaurants and lovely walks along the quay. Bonus was a secure place to leave our bikes!

Sebastian is a great host with a uniquely delightful home. His art work made the accommodation more personal and he was generous in his insistence that we should use any basic cupboard items when catering for ourselves. It was clearly an apartment that he also uses and it felt homely as a result. Decor was superb and views wonderful.

It's a good location. There's lots going on nearby but the flat is quiet. The interior is well designed, making really good use of the space. The sofa bed is unlike any other sofa bed I have slept on: it's very comfortable (and the instructions for turning the sofa into a bed were easy to follow). The flat was clean and everything in the flat was in good condition. Emily responded speedily and positively when I contacted her and always answered my question/sorted out my problem. A great place to stay!

A perfect last minute getaway for new year tranquillity. Although the weather wasn't the best we got out still and we would definitely love to return spring/summer time as the waters /surrounding the property would be so beautiful I'm sure if it wasn't already. The bed was super comfy. The space was ideal and enough to feel comfort for our visit. Thanks for the friendly welcome... Relaxed Gestures and fresh bread too.

Sadly, due to the hours I was working, I didn't have too many opportunities to use the enormous balcony and furniture, but on the few occasions I did, it was great looking out over the river and watching the sunset. Being there for a month, It was essential that I had somewhere homely and comfy, and this certainly was. There were other shocks too, like kitchen knives that were SHARP! Good selection of cooking equipment. Useful bits and pieces in the kitchen cupboards! Amazing! Hope it's still free in 2027!

We had a great stay at Ruth's place. Everything was as described and the flat was just as good as all the previous reviews have stated. The flat is very near to two pubs - the Spyglass and Kettle and the Commodore. The Spyglass has lovely seating outside and the Commodore has a very good menu. We had some great days out and were able to get the number 70 bus outside the apartment to some of them. Firstly, Hengistbury Head which only takes about 15 mins on the bus. There is a cafe there and another one on the other side where all the posh beach huts are. You can also pick up the same bus there to go to Christchurch which is only about another 10 minutes in the same direction. We also got the same bus into Bournemouth. Other recommendations are: Compton Acres which is a beautiful garden, set in woodland and Harry's Rocks which involves a pleasant one mile walk from Studland Car Park. The flat is a stone’s throw from the beach and there is a sea view from every window. We enjoyed some swimming and a hot drink from the kiosk nearby. Everything in the flat was immaculately clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. Bev responded very quickly when we needed her and was friendly and helpful. It was easy to unload the car from the loading bays outside and we left it in a car park close by. There were treats waiting for us when we arrived.

We had a great week, enjoying coastal walks and cycling and the local pub. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. It has the most wonderful views from the open plan living space which you can’t really appreciate from the photos. Graeme was really helpful / responsive.

We had a lovely 3 night stay as a family of 4 plus our dog and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the new forest and coast. The accommodation was lovely and clean with lots of thoughtful touches, and finished to a high standard plus the view of the sea is a real bonus! Nicky was a great host

We had the most fantastic time - the lodge was clean, beautifully furnished and cosy on a cold March evening with the wood burner - loved the record player with the albums - The little touches such as biscuits, coffee and croissants were appreciated as were the refillable bottles of hand wash, shampoo etc. You can immediately tell that the owners have put a lot of hard work and love into their property. My friends and I were together for our 50th birthday celebrations and downtime from our hectic lives and we couldn’t have picked a more idyllic spot. Beautiful walks, fabulous scenery and such a calm quiet place. An ideal location to explore the coast and also the local high street with pubs and restaurants is an easy walk - the hot tub was an absolute added bonus. All communication from the hosts was spot on - Thank you and we will be back again.

We had a lovely stay at Sue's place over Easter break! She was very helpful and allowed early check in as soon as the place was ready. Her place is in a lovely location with lots of great food places around Romsey as well as a 20-30 minute drive to wonderful walks in Brockenhurst and Blackwater!

We stayed with our dog over new year, from arrival we loved the place, great views from the bedroom just lying in bed and from the living room. A pub was only 0.3 miles from the house and we enjoyed a leisurely walk into Poole Quay crossing the Twin Sails Bridge, plenty of places to eat and drink with a dog, and somehow the walk back seemed quicker. Really enjoyed our stay and felt very home from home. The welcome box was super nice one for us and one for our dog, really nice touch.

We visited as a family of four with two young children (ages 3 and 6) and absolutely loved our stay! We'd highly recommend it to both families and couples. For families, the house is wonderfully equipped with books and games that kept our little ones happily occupied. They especially loved watching the ships pass by and playing on the green space behind the house by the water. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A particularly thoughtful touch was the birthday decorations the owners set up for my husband—it was such a lovely and unexpected surprise. We'd happily come back again!

Just home from our superb stay in Sandbanks. Thank you so much to Laila & Stephanie who made our stay perfect in every possible way. The accommodation is stunning, the location truly beautiful and being able to paddle board at high tide from the foot of the garden was so wonderful. Our family trip was made up of 4 adults in their 70's, 2 in their 40's and 2 teenagers and every one of us felt comfortable and catered for. A lovely dining and entertaining space and wonderful kitchen to prepare meals. the Local restaurants we tried were awesome and so much to do and see within a short walk or drive. Pickwick Cottage is beautiful ♥️ it is exactly as described. We were greeted with Prosecco, crisps, biscuits, cereal and milk and a lovely treat bag for our dog Chumley. It is a fabulous quirky cottage and it is immaculate. It had everything we needed to cook our Christmas meal. It was honestly the cosiest Christmas we have had away from home. We stay on this coastline around 7/8 times a year and often stay in Poole, this has now become one of our favourites. Yes the stairs are tricky but once you have climbed them a couple of times they become easier 🤣 Thankyou Julian for letting us stay in your wonderful quirky cottage, you should be very proud!

Home from home.Excellent central location to the harbour,restaurants,pubs and supermarkets.Added bonus of secure covered parking.Found it great for days out as straight onto all the main roads whichever way we were heading.The apartment was much larger than the pictures and the kitchen and lounge were very well equipped.Tricia was super responsive with communication and really helpful with our requests.Can highly recommend Rivazza curry house for lamb railway curry,probably the best curry ive ever had.

This apartment is in a great location for the bay and the beach. When you step inside, everything is just like you see in the photos. There is a room immediately on your left as you walk in that has a long clothes rail and clothes airer that we used after washing as no tumble dryer, but this got all clothes and beach towels dry. Fully equipped kitchen (inc washing up liquid, laundry detergent and cleaning products) and the children found board games in the cupboard that you can use. The heated towel rail in the shower room is quite high, but the one in the main bathroom is not. There are no wardrobes to hang clothes but each bedroom has a rail on the wall with coat hangers for you to use. The 2 smaller bedrooms each have a set of drawers too. There are 2 parking spaces for you to use and the Tesco Express is really handy for buying food and drink or anything you’ve forgotten ! Loved watching th sunsets on the bay side . Wow! Where to even start! This was my first time using air BnB and Ted has made it an amazing experience. Ted was super helpful from start to finish. I struggled with the booking system, no worries for Ted! He asked me to request the dates again and we booked straightaway. He was quick to reply and came across friendly and professional. When we arrived at the property, thanks to the guide we had received from Ted, getting into the property was a breeze and the location was easy to follow. Thanks for the annotations and pictures! Now onto the main event, the property. The flat was exactly as described and pictured and wow, that view off of the balcony overlooking the docks really is something else! The flat was very clean and tidy, had basic amnesties available as well as tea, coffee, milk portions in the fridge etc. The bedrooms were well stocked with towels and plenty of hangers as well as soap etc. The stay/flat was really wonderful and Ted even more so. A great few days stay at Tara’s place over the bank holiday weekend. Great communication with Tara (very responsive) and provided us with details on local building work which though didn’t impact our stay greatly was really appreciative. A great location to watch the world go by and our two daughters loved the bunk beds! Highly recommend.

We had a really enjoyable long weekend staying in Martin & Bet's lovely clean and modern apartment. Perfectly located with easy access to the town centre, the beach, Durlston County Park and more. Martin sent a message to say we could get into the apartment early which was a great help as we were able to settle in and still have the afternoon to wander around, get our bearings and sit with a glass of wine, in the sun, at a beach bar! We'd definitely like to stay here again when we next visit Swanage.
