Rustic cabin overlooking Lake Vermilion with dock

The cabin is located on 3 acres with two other cabins that are rentals and a home that we live in. There are three large docks with boat parking for guests and power. It is about 25 steps down to the lake so we do not recommend staying here if you have mobility issues and want to get to the lake. There is a private fire pit just for this cabin as well as a shared fire pit at the beach. Beautiful house in the woods!

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Off Grid cabin, Cozy & warm all winter by the fire

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.

This peaceful home sits 65 feet from the crystal clear waters of Burntside Lake. Only 10 minutes from town, the home is perfect for enjoying the lake year-round. The home was recently renovated and features internet, satellite TV, new flooring, new furniture, an updated bathroom, patio, and dock. The lake area has a wide sand beach, dock, kayak, and canoe for use. In the winter, the house is located just around the corner from the snowmobile trail. Life is good.

Built by one of Ely’s top craftsman, every need is met with rustic setting and a modern twist to a very comfortable cabin. The wall of windows brings in sunshine.
