Holiday rentals with lake access in St. Mary Parish

Repeat guest group & it was great The house setup allowed for some persons to be working while others relaxed. Kitchen was even better than we remembered & great for pizza making. Being in walking distance of gym and pool was fantastic. The group will definitely be back and for a longer stay next time.

Our stay at Cheerful Tropical was excellent absolutely perfect ! The location was ideal for exploring the city ,the space was spotless and beautifully decorated and Lophain was incredibly responsive to our questions .We especially loved the comfortable bed and the well stocked kitchen .I Highly Recommend!! Am looking forward to staying here again in the future.This place is located in Portmore St Catherine at Caribbean Estate Community,security is excellent no one will enter the complex without proper permission . Sylvia’s place was absolutely pristine and incredibly peaceful. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home with her warmth and friendliness. On our first morning, she served us delicious plantain pancakes, and on the second, refreshing coconut water—such thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. The location is stunning—nestled in Stony Hill, just a short distance from the serene Rio Grande. It’s truly the perfect spot to disconnect and rejuvenate. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Cottage Blu is a quaint cabin set in the peaceful valley of the Blue Mountains. The surrounding nature is breathtaking with morning glimpses of the Blue Mountain and the river providing a calming background hum. ⛰️ The space was great for my parents and myself, especially with the hammock and tables outside so we could each have our own space. The kitchen has all the basic utensils, plates, and pots and pans. I was glad that I brought some specific kitchen items with me to bake a cake. Jahope, Dale’s brother, was a wonderful guide and naturalist, he showed us all of the plants in the area! 🌿 If you travel here, I recommend using Apple Maps, NOT Google maps as it does not have all the roads. As we got closer to the cabin, we looked across the ravine to see our cabin and asked a very friendly local for more directions. Keep going and there will be more signs along the way! We would recommend having an 4wd vehicle for the trek 🚘 10/10 we would recommend this place and would return!

We booked this trip for my wife's 50th bday. She wanted luxury and relaxation. We got what we wanted and more. Javier, the owner was responsive to questions I had after booking. Once we got closer to the trip we were put in contact with Leyre who was also responsive to questions and gave us a clear outlook of what to expect. She put us in contact with our host/chef Anne Marie. We were met by Anne Marie upon checking in and this was by far the easiest check in I've ever had. The house was beautiful and spacious. Upon bringing in our bags we were greeted by rum punch and dinner and that set the tone for how this trip was going to go. The food was simply AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING she cooked was great. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I cannot sing her praises enough. Just because of her we are planning our next trip back. Andrew the security guard was helpful as well. He made us feel safe and showed us a couple of other coves on the property. Great times!!!!!!

this is my third time staying here and it always feel like home away from home

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place is truly worth it. It looks exactly like the pictures shown. When I arrived, the place was spotless and I made it just in time to watch the beautiful sunset from my balcony while listening to the soothing sound of the ocean. Just imagine being able to view a garden, the ocean, and the pool all at once from your balcony. Check-in was extremely easy, and the security was very polite. Having security on the compound adds great value to the property, making you feel even safer. Most major attractions are within 5 minutes of the property. During my stay, I was able to visit Mystic Mountain, Dunn’s River Falls, and had an amazing night out at Margartaville. If you enjoy dinning out, make sure to check out Ocean 11, it’s a must visit! I will definitely be coming back for a much longer trip, as there’s so much to see and do, you simply can’t be bored staying here. I’m so glad I chose this place and I have no hesitation recommending it to others.
