Felt like stepping into an episode of MTV Cribs — but with better wine and even better views. The place was spotless, stylish, and honestly even more impressive in person than in the photos. Yolanda was a dream host — proactive, flexible, and super easy to communicate with. She made check-in smooth and gave us space to fully relax and enjoy. We had to cut our stay a little shorter than expected due to other plans, but we easily could’ve stayed a few more days just soaking it all in. Highly recommend — this one’s a gem.

We stayed at Mieke’s Cottage for two months with our family, including our two young children (ages 2 and 3), and it was absolutely amazing—we felt at home from day one. A huge thank you to Lozanne, who was always there for us and helped with everything we needed. The house itself has everything you could ask for. It looks exactly like the photos and is the perfect place for a family. The absolute highlight for our kids was the large garden, where they could run around all day. They especially loved the jungle gym, swimming pool, and, of course, all the animals. This truly made our holiday special. The location was perfect—quiet and safe—yet within half an hour, you can reach most of Cape Town and the Winelands. This has been the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in as a family, and I’m sure we’ll be back one day!

Poenie's place is a delicious place in the middle of a dreamy location. We've spent 3 nights in her guest house. There is a double bed with nice bedding, a kitchen with a microwave and all the utensils needed. The bathroom shower was also great.There's a gorgeous swimming pool right in front of the house, that is shared with other guests. The view is spetacular, it was great to play domino while the cows were comunicating with each other under the moonlight. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to visit the Middelvlei Wine Estate because we had planned on having lunch on Monday and we didn't check before to make sure it would be open, it wasn't. Oh, and It was the most beautiful place to walk, the lakes, the birds, the animals, the vegetation, the grape vines, everything made our stay unforgettable.

We stayed at the pool house at Mitres Edge for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. It was incredibly spacious and we had access to the huge pool and lovely outdoor entertainment area and hot tub which was a real bonus. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

What a location for starters! Stunning! Richard met us as we arrived and got us acquainted with the place. It's pretty much exactly as it looks on the photos, and everything is clean and tidy. We were able to use the pool, but it was freezing due to the time of year, but being Brits...we never let that get in the way! it was private, safe and close to Franschoek centre (walkable). We were also treated to a bottle of wine from the vineyard, which was delicious. If you book Richard's place, you won't regret it! oh, and the bed in the main bedroom was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in!

We had a great stay at Vin’s place with our dogs. The place is clean, peaceful and the garden is beautiful. Vin is super responsive and accommodating, and full of good local recommendations !

Kirsty was an amazing host! The property was perfect with everything we needed. The whole estate is so well kept. The rusks were delicious. I didn’t bring the correct adapters for the hairdryer and within minutes of me messaging her she produced one! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. You should be very proud of such a fabulous property.

Really awesome stay! Only thing would be all the flies and bugs but that is out of the hosts control. There was doom and candles available. Had a really awesome experience. Very friendly host.

A great stay that is a perfect hideaway. Dorita was a wonderful, understanding host and we would definitely looked to stay there again if we are in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Toinette's place (Liefde cottage). The house is neat and spacious, and one can savour the peacefulness of being on a farm. We had lovely strolls on the farm, there is a small stream nearby which the kids loved exploring. The kitchen is well equipped, even with a dishwasher which made staying there comfortable. Greyton with all its restaurants, interesting shops and nature reserve is a 30 minute scenic drive away. Toinette is very friendly and responsive. I would recommend this to people who need to get away from it all to unwind.

Such a beautiful location. We loved the plunge pool in the gorgeous garden. What a view. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the mountains. Great location on the edge of Rustenberg Wine Estate, with its lovely gardens.

A truly peaceful and beautiful little gem nestled between the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains. Leonard and Valeria are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. I would love to spend more time here in the future, two days was not enough to enjoy the beautiful home and surroundings.

What a memorable time we had! The views are magnificent and made our long walks worthwhile.The beds were so comfy! We really enjoyed family time around the fireplace during the evenings. The kids had fun cooling off at the private pool during the day!... but the cherry on top was most definitely those breakfast baskets!

Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

The accommodation is completely as described, even better! We spent two months here with a big group and it was great! Hanna and her husband Petre are very attentive and willing to help, they even built an awning for our cars so they wouldn't get hot in the sun. Great gym and workouts right on the property. The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful, especially Kogel Bay beach and the road to it. Everything was very cool!

Beautiful home in an amazing location. Felt right at home - house is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street to feel very private but all within walking distance of anything you need. Jan was a great host and so was Eric who looked after us very well. Will def be back for future trips.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you need is available and well thought out. We did have a power outage which was in the entire area for one of the days we were there. Other than that hiccup, we loved our stay. Host was very responsive. Wish we could’ve met them. Maybe next time.

We had a fabulous stay and the house was perfect for what we needed. We spent time at the house braaing, swimming, playing games but also close to get into Stellenbosch for wine tasting, shopping etc. Cherice and Elana were both always available and very helpful. We loved our time and would highly recommend.
