What a beautiful! We had a wonderful stay at Searenity. Herb was a wonderful host, and genuinely wants his guest to have a great stay. He was on hand if needed, but we felt able to enjoy the space to ourselves. The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fantastic, when we were travelling from the other side of the world. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful place.

A comfortable home with a magical view! The perfect location to explore the island, or just stay put if you wish. Wildlife abounds, with the option to walk the long stretch of beach until your legs are tired. Our favourite aspect was the calls of the penguins at night. Will return if the opportunity arises. Kevin's home was exceptionally comfortable, clean, well-presented and roomy. The amenities were first rate. We found the location well positioned on the island being 15 minutes from Kingscote and approximately 30 minutes from Penneshaw. We all readily settled in, so much so, that my friends, who were all visiting from Sydney, told me that they didn't want to leave. Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed our seven day stay.

We loved having both a sea view and a river view from the house, and being able to walk straight onto the beach from the back gate. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Congratulations, if you are reading this review you have the chance to stay in one of the most special places on earth and you should not miss this opportunity. We are a family of 5 traveling the globe for a year and our last 5 nights at Stokes Bay Cliffs have been some of the most invigorating, inspiring, and delightful of our trip. Whether the view from the porch has you more enchanted by the wildlife or the sea, you will surely find yourself in the best frame of mind and grateful to be here, now. Kayak along the shore, hike the property, visit the local beaches, it doesn't matter how you spend your time, you will not be disappointed. I would add that if you are still deciding to come to KI or elsewhere, this place in and of itself should make the decision for you. Our cups are full and we are most grateful to the owners and hosts for this memorable stay.

Very well designed living space with excellent facilities makes this a wonderful place to stay for as many days as you can manage. Helpful and rapid communication from Jayne, who is an active volunteer for a variety of local activities and therefore very knowledgeable and happy to share her justifiable enthusiasm for the island. The little museum in the old school nearby is well worth an hour of your time. Pristine swimming beach (it's shallow for a long way out) on your doorstep for those pre-breakfast dips. At the time of writing, work is taking place improving the ferry terminal, but doesn't much interfere with the peace and quiet. Large cruise ships are frequent visitors for 1 day. Highly recommended.

What can I say ... priceless views and a house that had LITERALLY everything we could have asked for... we created a memorable moment in time and we have Julie to thank for that 🙌🤗🫶

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

We loved our stay at Liam’s place! The location was perfect, just a short walk to a stunning and family-friendly beach. The house was great for our young family, with a large well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor deck. We enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings and daily visits from wallabies, which the kids loved. Liam was very responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend the „Cheeky Wren“ and are already planning our next visit to Kangaroo Island.

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

Nice place, right next to the beach and close to ferry terminal, IGA, and coffee shop. The house is spacious, has good books for kids, kitchen has amenities more than one could ask for.

We loved our stay at Tamara's place..if you want to have a nice place to chill and unwind this place is for you! Good location in the middle of the island to.see all the beautiful spots on the island ..Thanks Tamara we had a faboulous time at Kangaroo island what a special place !

Dolphins Lookout is quite amazing! The views are gorgeous and close to everything needed. The beach was at a walkable distance and easy to find. We thank Prue for being an attentive and generous host for our stay in Kangaroo Island. Will definitely be coming back!!

Great stay - extremely accommodating. We’ll be back again!

Jane’s place is situated up a hill outlooking a beautiful hill and seascape. The beach is approximately a km walk and is small,unique and safe for fishing ,snorkelling ,kayaking or for little ones to swim .. can get very crowded in summer or on public holidays ,but other times you can enjoy the beach almost to yourself.. plenty of squid from the jetty and lots of interesting history. The home is a comfy beach shack and feels homely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Katie’s house! It is close to the beach, well maintained and it has lots of accessories.

The photos definitely don't do this place justice! My friends and I loved the deck area for eating meals and hanging out. The house feels homely and has lots of character, with everything could need. Highly recommend. Thanks again Steve!

We loved our stay at Sam’s place. Island Beach is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and quiet and private, but close enough to Penneshaw and activities to keep us amused. Authenticity Beachhouse was so well situated, with great sea views, and had heaps of space and amenities perfect for our family of four…with an extra room to spare. Sam has thought of everything, and we loved all of the little extras he provided that helped make our holiday more fun - boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and tent, lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus the Hamptons style decor was so lovely. Thanks for a really lovely stay Sam. Our kids have already asked when we are coming back to visit again!

Absolutely loved our accommodation! Extremely comfortable beds and living area was well set up. We loved daily visits from kangaroos. Beautiful beach nearby! A wonderful holiday spot!

I had a lovely stay here! The house was very tidy & spacious & had everything needed to feel right at home. Highlights were comfy beds, 2 toilets, and being in close proximity to the bus stop and other Kingscote shops & eateries.

Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.
