Holiday rentals in Stokes State Forest

This is such a lovely home! It was meticulously clean and had everything you could want! The space downstairs was terrific for family time, there was a giant TV as well as the Pacman machine which was such a bonus! The coffee and s'mores were a really classy touch too. If you are planning to spend time at Mount Peter, this is a great place to stay, we were able to ski in the mornings, take a break in the hot tub and go back for the afternoon. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay over President's Day weekend and I highly recommend staying here. It had all of the things we were looking for - hot tub, fireplace (wood stove which was even nicer for all the heat it gave off), sauna (amazing), and a fully stocked kitchen. The place is nicely redone with 4 cozy bedrooms (especially the two upstairs). We would definitely stay here again.

This place is very well decorated and squeaky clean. It also seems recently renovated.. The beds are super comfy and the house is spacious. We felt very safe in the gated Arrowhead Lake community. It’s close to Jack Frost and other activities. My only suggestion would be to leave instructions for the DeLonghi nespresso machine or place a regular coffee pot. But this is a minor detail - otherwise a perfect weekend stay and we’d definitely stay here again!

We had a terrific time. It’s a lovely home- 20 min from Shawnee mountain and steps away from an indoor/outdoor pool facility (depends on weather), sledding hill and small skiing hill with ski lift. I would absolutely stay here again- and highly recommend for anyone with young kids looking to teach them to ski. Very very convenient. The hosts were available for questions and were friendly/flexible. Incredible customer service. We will be back!

Melinda was an exceptional host very responsive and attentive. Her place exceeded our expectations, it was even better than described! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. My group and I had a fantastic time and truly appreciated the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We had a great stay. The pictures matched the house. It was very clean and well organized. There are a lot of games for both kids and adults. We did have a problem with the carbon monoxide alarm but the owners were very quick to respond and fix the problem. The indoor pool is about 2 miles from the house. All in all we had a great stay. Perfect for a family .

Host was VERY accommodating and flexible. Only downside was the heat wasn’t very strong but there were space heaters inside so it worked well. Highly recommend!
