Holiday rentals with a patio in Stonehaven

I am worried about posting something too positive, in case it makes the property too busy, and we don't get a chance to come back!! However, I suppose we'd better do the right thing! This was a property that ticked all the boxes. Centrally located, but in a small gated and private community. Dedicated on-site parking. EXTREMELY comfortable beds! Very well appointed house. Ground floor, which was perfect for my 90yr old mum. Kitchen well stocked with new and quality appliances. Krupps 'Nespresso' machine with plenty of pods was very appreciated! Squeaky clean. Amazing welcome pack- loaf of fresh bread, milk, butter, cereal selection, coffee, tea, etc. Luscious towels. It is clear from the enthusiastic, instant, and extremely helpful communication, to the careful attention to detail, that Peter takes this business seriously. It matters to him that we are happy with our stay. ...and to be honest- with a property like this, how could we not be happy!!? We will definitely be back.

I stayed here to be nearby during graduation and it was an excellent experience. The location was close to all the places I needed to be at. The surroundings were quiet, the beds were comfortable, great experience all around! Trish came by during check-in time and got us settled. Thank you!

We were a group of 6 golfers who were looking for a good base around Dundee which was central, modern, clean , had parking and good self service facilities. This accommodation fitted the bill perfectly. When we are returning we will be certainly looking up this home away from home again. Thanking you kindly. Liam

Lovely, spacious apartment in a great location. The whole place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very nicely furnished. Bathrooms are great with powerful showers. Lovely outside space to sit out when the sun shines. We’ve stayed in lots of properties in Ballater and this is our favourite.

Our second time here and another great stay. The place is spacious and well-equipped and easily walkable to local shops, restaurants and pubs; Carron To Mumbai is a great restaurant and only a couple of minutes walk away.

The house was lovely. It was maintained very well, very clean, and I could feel that Mary and James have put in a lot of thoughts for making visitors’ stay pleasant. I would definitely visit again/recommend to my family and friends.

stayed here as we had a wedding 10 mins away. was a lovely, warm and cosy place. well fitted and beautifully done. really accommodating especially as we had a baby and needed cot. we also left something behind and Sandra made sure we got it back! thanks a million

Very lovely house with lots of mirrors what my daughter likes it a lot. More spacious than I think. Beautiful and great utensils. The conservatory is also beautiful with a nice view. Irene is a very friendly and responsive. It is really worth of money.

Very lovely place for a family stay! Beautiful surroundings, if you love walking and hiking - even better! Probably not a super child friendly place if they are small as there’s loads of decorations and books around the house, but other than that - we were happy with the place.

I had an 8 night solo retreat here. It exceeded my high expectations. So comfortable and as cosy as a cosy thing. I slept great and loved waking up to see and hear the sea. The bed is a king with great mattress & linen. I made it out of bed, briefly, at 6am on four occasions to watch the sun rise out of the sea. And to watch the two small local boats bobbing around as they visit their lobster pots. It’s so tranquil at that time. The property is very peaceful generally. Warm. Wi-Fi strong. Good comms with Loren. Patio area o/s with chairs; I enjoyed mostly great weather. The Lobster Shop is a must; I had four meals out of there. The Hidden Treasure cafe is great for tea & cake. The village shop stocks everything. The pub gets great reviews; but I never went in - next time perhaps. I read loads and went south in the winter. Walked lots. Local walk up the coast, Montrose lighthouse, Arbroath Cliffs, Dunnottar Castle to Stonehaven. All lovely. A pity my days eventually ran out.

Beautiful wee cottage in rural setting but close to local amenities. The house is well equipped and spotless with lovely views too. Excellent stay and host!

Had a great time here over the New Year period, was exactly what was described on the listing & more. Allan is friendly and helpful with anything you may need. Would definitely recommend this place :)

The location and beautiful, peaceful surroundings were perfect for our group. We were able to walk to a few distilleries, rest well, and enjoy the peace together.

A beautiful home from home, right beside the sea. With stunning sea views, comfortable beds and loads of space for the whole family. The apartment was spotless, and did I mention the views??? Wow! The sea comes right up to walls of the buildings, and there are so many birds to see from the comfy armchairs beside the windows. We even saw a seal pop his head up! Lovely walks from the apartment along the coast, and the fish and chip shop on the pier is really good. This was our second visit here, because we loved it so much last year - and it didn’t disappoint! I’d love to return again.

Spacious flat and very quiet. Flat has everything you need to be comfortable with restaurants , shopping centre and plenty of coffee shops on your doorstep. Great location for the centre and local transport which i used a lot. James responded very quickly to any questions i asked and was extremely helpful. I needed to extend my stay at short notice and this was no problem. Although work currently going on at the front of the building this cannot be heard at all in the flat. I would be happy to recommend. Thank you for a stress free visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Aveline’s flat. Starting with Aveline being very responsive, to a seamless check in, great location, and the flat having everything needed for our stay. We could not have asked for anything more. I can see why her place is often booked out.

a lovely place to stay. the accommodation was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Karen was fantastic with Comms, very friendly and attentive. the Christmas decorations and goodies were a lovely surprise. and having milk on the fridge always shows a thoughtful host 😊

What an experience! Well done, David and team. Absolutely nothing to take away from this accommodation. - all the parameters of measuring a good service scored the very top mark. And it was good value for money too. The team responded promptly when the toaster broke down and most courteously too. I recommend this accommodation fully and without any reservation at all.

Beautiful place so quiet for a city. Easy bus links into town. Very clean and tidy beautifully staged period property on a beautiful tree lined street.

I stayed at Angela’s flat with my husband and baby daughter. We found the flat spacious, and well thought out. It had a well equipped kitchen. It was quiet despite being located so close to the city centre. We will definitely visit again! One thing we missed in the listing is that there are two steps to the building door from the street, not a huge problem but made getting in and out with a pram a little challenging.
