Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Südbrookmerland

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

We had a wonderful few days in October at this cozy place! Especially the fireplace made the cool evenings sweeter for us. The cottage is perfect for relaxing, surrounded by greenery and very quiet. The amenities were spot on – functional and charming. Particularly beautiful was the large garden, where you can look out of the light-flooded living room. The contact with Gaby and Holger was completely straightforward and friendly. For those who want to really unwind and come down, we can absolutely recommend this place

Great cottage in the immediate vicinity of the city center. Nevertheless, quiet location. Nice garden to relax. There was nothing missing from the equipment. Very friendly and fast communication.

Absolutely recommendable accommodation if you are looking for tranquility in nature. The house is very nice and cozily furnished, everything was perfectly clean and hygienic and there was everything you could want for a stay. Jens is a friendly, helpful host, there were helpful instructions and tips before and during the stay. We will come back:-)

A very nice house in good location and cozy décor. We had a wonderful weekend at the Ossi cottage. Large and bright rooms and lots of opportunities to sit together. Unfortunately, because we were there in winter, we could not use the great barbecue area outside in the garden. But we plan to come back in the summer to make up for this.

The small witch's house is great, it has real witch house flair but it was a wonderful weekend to come to rest and relax in the sauna and hot tub. I'd love to come back :)

The holiday home Seehund was very cozy and very stylish. Lucas is a very enjoyable and reliable contact person, from whom we have received help at any time. There are still some construction sites around the house, which did not bother us any further. A restaurant that can be reached on foot would have been great. But in the cozy kitchen it was fun to cook together. We would like to visit the accommodation again.

I highly recommend the apartment!! We were there with 5 women and appreciated the large living area. In the spacious apartment you quickly feel at home and can even enjoy your stay in January. Grete is a very good host, thanks for everything!!!!!

Volker warmly picked us up at the stations, showed us into the room at sunset with the sun shining in nicely. Our stay was wonderful, spacious cozy room and Volker went out of his way to show us around, and pick up and deliver us back at the station! Do mind, the location is ~7km from the closest village, nicely remote!

I have certainly been to the island over 30 times, but have never had such a beautiful, modern, well-kept, lovingly furnished apartment. Even with 6 adult women no problem. We had enough space, even slept well in the bunk bed and felt very comfortable the whole time. Perfect even with the two bathrooms! Julia and the lady on site were very helpful and always available. We really want to come back, thank you so much for everything!

We felt very comfortable, and were able to switch off well in the rural surroundings. Our highlight was the cozy evenings in front of the fireplace. In the large and open kitchen we could cook great with several people and it has everything you need. Clear recommendation!

My girlfriend and I spent our second stay together here; the home was just a perfect as the first time around. The setting is beautiful and was just as pleasant during winter as it was in the summer. We got lucky and had snow this time, which truly made for some gorgeous views and serene surroundings. Rosie & Thomas were simply perfect hosts, which we had come to expect from our first experience with the couple. Highly recommended place to stay for those seeking a peaceful getaway; with easy access to both the rural and sub-urban parts of Germany. No doubt we will be back in the near future :)

We were very warmly welcomed. Our hosts were always quick, easy and easy to approach, whether via mobile phone or the apartment door. Bremen and Oldenburg are easily accessible from the apartment. Surroundings is quiet and exactly what we were looking for for the end of the year and the Swedish stove has served us well and delighted us very much. Many thanks again for your hospitality.

Marco's apartment was well equipped and spacious for us 5 people. We found the apartment (in January) to be a bit too cold, but with the fireplace in the living room we were still able to stay well in the living and dining area. Of course, the private sauna in the garden is also very nice!

Linda and Stephan's place was the ideal getaway for our family with young children. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in their beautiful, welcoming space. The garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful retreat with plenty of room for the kids to play and explore safely. The toys and books provided kept our little ones entertained for hours, making it a stress-free experience for us. The kitchen was fantastic—spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a professional coffee apparatus that made mornings a real treat. The hosts, Linda and Stephan, were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend their place to families seeking a relaxing, kid-friendly retreat. We can't wait to return!

We stayed at the villa with 5 people over New Year's Eve. We were all more than happy with the place. Cozily furnished, you feel right at home. All rooms are larger than they looked in the photos. Great fireplace room, huge kitchen with excellent amenities, it really has everything you need and more. Nice, very communicative hosts, were provided with all arrival information, etc. Absolutely recommended!

Very nice house on a big plot in wooded area. House fully equipped. Beautiful, big garden with enough places to sit. Also a canopy with seating and even sports facilities.

What a lovely house with top garden and facilities this is. Whatever you want to do... it's possible here. And everything is also very clearly stated. If you need to know something, you'll get a quick response to your question. Simply: great!

We (including dog) felt very comfortable with Christopher. The cottage is comfortably furnished and we were greeted friendly and at eye level. Questions were always answered quickly and we felt well cared for. Many blankets for cool mornings are available, there are brochures of the area, DVDs, dog bowls, and mosquitoes. Usefulness and attention to detail visibly connect in the accommodation. Small drawback for us was that the TV did not have an Hdmi connection and there was a little bit of cutlery, but yes, those are really just small things. So our week in Holtland was completely successful!

We were a group of 7. We instantly fell in love with the house. It was a real privilege to stay there. We bonded hanging out in the evenings cooking dinner and that really brought us together as a group. The house was a highlight of our trip. Dream-like. A little difficult coming home late at night. We got taxis some nights because the last bus leaves the city at 12:30am. But it was worth it. The walk from the car park is also worth it. Tranquil and beautiful. We were genuinely sad when it was time to come home. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you Margriet for having us.

He went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was smooth and enjoyable, helping us with things we didn’t even expect. His local tips and personal assistance made a huge difference and added a special touch to our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
