Came here with 2 kids. The set up was perfect for us. Location of the unit was good; walking distance to nice restaurants, Cafés, shops, supermarket. Service was excellent and host was responsive and helpful.

Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

Kadek, our gracious host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Her prompt responses, helpful recommendations, and seamless coordination of services like transportation, massages, and delicious breakfasts made our stay truly unforgettable. Kadek is a wonderful host. Very friendly. The room came with a simple, but delicious breakfast. I highly recommend the banana pancakes! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the occasional barking dogs and crowing roosters and night.

I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at Santra Putra and about the wonderful hosts, Komang and his family. What a special, special place. The room was spacious and lovely and surrounded by lush beautiful gardens teeming with flowers and birds and riotous greenery. There is art everywhere and the founder is an accomplished and talented artist and educator. His wife Made and sister in law Ketut, and son Komang, and the team there are all just amazing humans, full of goodwill, humor and kindness. I can’t believe I dropped into this awesomeness. Santra Putra draws some wonderful people as well and conversations around the breakfast table were wonderful and generative. I felt the perfect balance of privacy and connectivity. The kitchen in my space was great for my needs and I felt right at home. Bed was very comfortable and I always felt safe as a solo traveler. Location great. Access to many cafes, restaurants, beautiful walks.. Thank you Komang and family. Will return.

I had an absolutely beautiful stay at Bungalow Jepun! It felt like a wonderful sanctuary and home away from home in the heart of Penestanan which itself is a lovely peaceful village / neighbourhood with lush walkways through the rice paddies - the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of central Ubud (which is also easily accessible). Barbara and Henry were so warmly welcoming to me. I really appreciated all of my interactions with them and their thoughtful recommendations :) My arrival (after a late evening flight into Denpasar) was smooth and easy with Blue their recommended driver. The bungalow itself was spotless, light, private (down some steps from the main villa and surrounded by greenery in the garden) and very comfortable. Yellow Flower Café and Intuitive Flow (a sweet little yoga studio with amazing views) are just a few steps away in the neighbourhood. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend!

Located just right beside Sidewalk Jimbaran, plenty of food around, private yet walkable distance to amenities and at a good price too! Toya is also very friendly and responsive, and our check-in process was so smooth! Would definitely come back again!

Kadek's place was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the main town of Ubud, which is becoming a little too crowded. Yet, it is very walkable to the Bintang Supermarket, from where we could get what we need. Additionally, there are many cafes and restaurants also within walking distance. The villa was clean and well-kept. Kadek was very responsive and helpful. There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Only stayed for one night but it was perfect. Clean room and the location was good.

This is a unique stay in a very private villa perched on a hillside amongst beautiful gardens and surrounded by nature. Perfect if you want to escape the tourist crowds and get back to nature. Our host was always immediately contactable if we needed anything (scooter hire, car and driver, places to eat etc). One evening we ate in and were provided with a delicious meal by our host’s wife. There were so many choices for breakfast all of which were delicious. You are a little bit “out there” with this stay but that’s what we wanted and we loved it. All in all gracious friendly helpful people, comfortable accommodation and stunning views 😊

It was the cleanest and most beautiful Airbnb house I've ever stayed in. They thought of everything. There is everything you can think of in the kitchen, from coffee to coffee machine. In addition, the furniture is very new, the house is very clean. The only problem is that the pool is actually inside another property. Where you pass to get there, there are dogs that are harmless but bark a lot. It was definitely worth it though. As I said, it was the most beautiful Airbnb house I have stayed in. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay here for 2 weeks. Made is very friendly and helpful. I arrived early but was able to put my stuff in the room. It's a lively area so you will hear some noise but it's located in a quiet sidestreet so it feels quiet and peaceful. Every 3,4 days my room got cleaned. The A/C worked very well. The bed and pillows were super comfy! Overall recommended! Thank you Made and family!

This place is an absolute gem of a homestay. I’ve stayed in a few over the past few months in Ubud but this one immediately became my favourite. It’s so peaceful in the courtyard - all you can hear is bird song & a little water fountain in the garden despite Ubud central being down the road. My room was huge, clean, had loads of amenities like safe, kettle, tea/coffee, & hairdryer. Like others have said, I really enjoyed the banana pancakes for breakfast on my patio! Agung himself is extremely responsive, friendly, & proactive - there was one evening when the WiFi briefly went down due to an issue with the solar panels, but it was only 5 minutes from me messaging him about it to a member of staff running out into fix it & the WiFi service resuming, so they are always on hand to resolve any issue right away. All the staff & family members in the compound in fact are so lovely & welcoming. I loved it here so much I immediately booked to come back a few days later! Very much recommended!
