The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

We were able to relax and stay like at home in this country where we can have incredible experiences. No convenient parking issues. It's a little far from the center of Zurich, but the distance is worth it for this house. The only thing I'm sorry about is that we didn't spend a lot of time in the house, we just entered to sleep. The information for the house, the pictures are all exactly the same. We were very lucky to shop very close to a quiet village of Konstanz Germany. If I come back, my choice will be Andrea and Marc's house again. Thank you so much. You are great.

We felt right at home😊. Melania's house has everything you need and even more to have a nice vacation, the covered terrace is furnished with table, bench, sofas... all to also enjoy the exterior in tranquility. The most beautiful thing was the welcome: he made us find on the water table, two glasses, an aperitif bottle and chips. In the fridge there were beers and in the food closets in addition to the coffee machine with the pods. All for free use. I loved finding red roses and there were fresh plants like cyclamen and candles outside. Melanie is a very sweet, attentive and always available host. We will definitely return to your home, I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything Melanie🥰

Very nice home with amazing views.

The stay was very pleasant, Enrico is very kind and helpful, we arranged easily for check-in/out and technical things. In winter, there's little chance to eat out; the place has everything you need so we were able to cook nudely at home. The accommodation is slightly cold (January) but with a stove and heaters that have made the house warm and comfortable. The house is very close to the dam, within walking distance with a very nice path. Lots of walking and on-time bus service. The house is on the side of the mountain that has sunshine even in winter. Absolutely recommended!

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful - really a magical out of this world place!!! The views were from a fantasy book. The chalet was perfect, we enjoyed tremendously!!!!!

It's just good, it's very very pleasant

We were able to book the same day for the evening which saved my birthday. The host is really very welcoming and told us that the music didn't bother him. Perfect for summer as the accommodation is equipped with a swimming pool, and for winter a hot tub. It was a very pleasant stay and we did not lack anything because the host offers items (pasta, beers,spirits...) that we can buy directly from him. We'll be happy to go back again.

Great communication and friendly host. House is like the pictures

It was a lovely family Christmas! The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The panorama from the living room to the lake and the mountains is amazing. The owner is very responsive, always responding quickly to messages. And an important moment for us - our youngest daughter forgot her phone in the apartment, and we discovered the loss only a few days later. The owner resolved this issue very quickly, the phone was even charged so that we could see its location. We are definitely ready to return here, with pleasure!

We had an amazing stay at the Chalet a la Casa! First off, we had a group of 8 of us staying there and the condo was more than spacious enough for all of us. We loved the wood burning fireplace and outdoor patio (with heat lamps so you can cozy up and enjoy the views). The views! You couldn’t ask for a better view - perfect sight line to the Matterhorn from the kitchen and patio. Since it had just snowed, the kids couldn’t get enough of sledding down the hill right outside the patio. Great location, convenient to many restaurants and buses, and the hot tub wasn’t a nice bonus! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great stay with the dogs in a great environment with lots of peace and quiet

It is a very nice airbnb, we were 5 people, and the accommodation is well prepared, it is spacious, beautiful and modern, the communication with the host very well, very simple and very comfortable, I recommend this place for 6 people since the beds are comfortable! I would definitely go back to this place!

I highly recommend Herve’s chalet in Châtel-Saint-Denis. It was quiet, spacious and clean. We appreciated all the extra amenities, like a crib and high chair, seasonings for cooking, and coffee. We had a great stay!

Maya's house is quaint, very quiet and well equipped. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped, large shower with neat water pressure. The beds are large and comfortable. The house sits on the edge of a mountain village and - which is pleasant especially in nice weather - a lot of sunlight throughout the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We felt at home at Reinhard and Elisangela's place, they were very friendly while respecting our privacy and the house was, as described, low-key but had all the necessary amenities and above all in a great location, close to the lake in a quiet and relaxing area while still well connected by public transport to larger cities such as Zurich. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place for families with young children.

This is a family-friendly and cozy place very near the Lake Zürich. It's the garden-floor apartment of a beautiful rustic Swiss house. The town is quiet and meditative, but also well connected to Zürich, 15 min by train. We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is clean, tidy and all amenities are ready. The landlord is caring. There is a Coop grocery store just across the town hall. Our daughters loved the garden bedroom and the Lindt Chocolate Museum which is at a walking distance. If you prefer, you can go to Zürich by boat as well, or tour around the lake, one boarding platform is a few minutes from the house. Such a magical Swiss-style of living...

A nice little house directly on the lake. Pure relaxation with sauna and enough space for four to sit on the sofa. You are quickly in the city or in the mountains and various shopping facilities are available nearby. Lovingly decorated and cozy. Very nice contact and impeccable communication.
