Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tabio

The house was exceeded all my expectations. It's beautiful, perfect for families and children. Hernis and Yamile, who took care of us, were the best: always helpful, attentive and some excellent people. Also, Yamile cuisine delicious. It's a house you won't want to go out in, so if they go, get ready with the whole market because, on seeing it, they sure won't want to leave. I would come back a thousand times. The only thing to improve is that they should correct the location they send in the reservation confirmation email as it took us to a totally different place and that wasted a lot of time. But other than that, everything was great.

The hacienda is very nice, has beautiful gardens, it is just like the photos, very quiet and the hosts are super friendly. 100% recommended the accommodation, we hope to return!

We booked the house for a family Christmas and New Year’s vacation. Mary’s house was the perfect fit. She made us feel right at home. We had the greatest time thank you very much to Mary.

Everything was as expected and the friendliness and hospitality were next to none. Everything Karen and Samuel did from offering breakfast service to making us feel at home was more than we could have asked for. However, there are a few things to keep in mind that are just quirks of being in the boonies: the reception is spotty at best inside the house due to the construction materials, and the WiFi is mostly unavailable and slow due to being in the mountains (don’t expect to get anything done, just enjoy the views and seclusion this place offers), Uber/DiDi/Cabify are nearly impossible to get after dark if you want to leave and people are hesitant to take you back (tell the driver they won’t have to pay the toll on the way back from Chia), and lastly there is no hot water (particularly if you’re coming from the US technically hot by Colombian standards). Stay here if you want to unplug, enjoy nature, and take cold(er than expected) showers.

A cozy space, it is like feeling at home, fully organized and a space to get out of the routine, the host was friendly all the time and understanding from check in to check out. The lady who welcomed us was a love, and the house has everything to share and enjoy

I hesitated to book this hacienda for the comments on the state of the facilities, but the photo of the waterfall convinced me. And what a good decision! Despite being a rustic place, natural beauty and tranquility make up for any small discomfort. Check-in is easy following the directions, although I recommend a tall cart. Yes, there is animal excrement, little and logical to be a hacienda. The lack of internet and signal is perfect to disconnect and enjoy nature. Don Eduardo is very friendly and the facilities, although basic, are functional. The fireplace is great for cold nights, so I recommend ordering firewood in advance. The waterfall is wonderful and the natural hydrotherapy is revitalizing. It is important to bring everything you need as there are no shops nearby. In short, it is a place to reconnect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you to the owners for preserving nature and sharing it. God bless them.

yes, In case you are wondering, Gladys does provide a delicious breakfast at no additional charge. While Gladys was not in any way intrusive it felt like we were staying at a friend's casita. Her place was very clean. We felt completely safe there. The bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a place to eat Steve and Daves's barbecue is just a short distance away. Incredibly delicious and a great value.

Everything is great. The perfect cabin for a quiet getaway in the countryside

We spend the end of the year in the cabin of the river of Maria Consuelo(we have the fortune of a spectacular climate) Which I recommend if you are in search of tranquility, disconnection, nature, peace; if you want to delight in a starry sky, if you want to see the magic of the orchard, fruit and floral trees, if you want to hear the pleasant sound of the river. As if this were not enough at night we enjoyed a campfire,in a space they have very well suited for this purpose. Maria Consuelo had beautiful details to make us feel very welcome and invited us to a delicious breakfast. We meet and share special moments and a beautiful hike with Linda, Chiqui and Rocky three lovely dogs. Please keep in mind that you will go to a country cabin, but you will have everything you need!

Sandra's cabin is excellent and very quiet, it is definitely a good place to disconnect and be a quiet weekend. The place is just like in the photos, everything in wood with a rustic touch and with kitchen and implements needed to make meals. The place is easily accessible by vehicle even though the last section is uncovered. Overall it seemed like a very nice and quiet place, plus Sandra's directions were accurate. It is recommended to go very warm because the nights and mornings are very cold, but the fact that there is a heater in the room is appreciated. I highly recommend it if you are looking for peace of mind. In the same way the village is 20 minutes away and we found very good offer of restaurants and cafes. I would definitely come back.

Great place, it was perfect to what we wanted to do which was get out of the hussle of the city and connect with family in a place that we can spend time and just have fun talking, bbquing, surrounded by the mountains and where we can all be comfortable. 100% recommended
