Bungalow holiday rentals in Tahiti-Iti

We stayed 2 weeks in the beginning of Jan. It's off season so it rained just enough for us. The home is cozy and serene. The main drive way is beautiful kept with sand and a lush green and flower landscape. The main house is closely situated but privacy was never imposed on. You hear the waves crash which is a delight. Thankful for the mosquito nets and the outdoor tub and shower for rinsing off the beach sand or simply cooling off and the washer machine for any laundry purposes. Italo provided lego like toys for our 3yo which his own son's had played with. Plenty of outdoor seating options. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Use the provided green lid plastic bins to keep dried foods away from ants. It's an open living bungalow expect ants. A little peppermint oil and the dispersed quickly. No couch. Two sturdy chairs for relaxing. Ceiling fan in one room didn't work and the replacement floor fan had a faulty motor that was tempermental at best. Snorkel gear was provided.

I'd be happy to go back. The house is in a very nice garden, in front of a beautiful beach. a real pleasure to be placed on the terrace in a rocking chair to listen to the sound of the waves. frederique is a very nice host, who has gladly helped us every time we asked for something (taxi, scooter rental, find a place on the next island). all great what!

The inside was clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Linens fresh. We appreciated the outdoor space and the view of the water. Snorkeling was good. Kayaking was good. Outdoor shower was really nice to have. Thanks for creating a wonderful space. Donna and Jim

We feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered Tamara’s beautiful Airbnb. It exceeded all our expectations and was truly perfect in every way. Tamara is not only an exceptional host but also a genuinely lovely person. We adored every moment of our stay and believe this is the best accommodation in Moorea. The beach right in front is breathtaking, and the bungalow was equipped with everything we could ever need. Our experience was even better than what the photos suggest, and we can't wait to return. We had an unforgettable time and love every moment of it.

Terupehe’s bungalow was perfect. It was a sweet location on the island. The rental car was essential. We drove both directions to explore Tahiti and really liked that it was not too close to Papeete but close enough that the drive wasn’t bad when we got off the airplane and went back for our ferry boat. The open air market in Papeete was nice the first day. We bought fresh fruits, vegetables and fish and were able to cook in our bungalow. Driving the other directions we went as far as Teahupo’o. On the way we saw many beautiful lagoons and found a really nice restaurant, Le Moto de Mymy. At the bungalow we prepared ourselves some meals in the well stocked kitchen. Our favorite activity was taking the two person kayak out on the lagoon and snorkeling. The kayak and snorkel gear was there for us to use and it was the prettiest snorkeling of my life. The lagoon is full of sea life. From the deck alone I saw reef sharks, fish and a ray. I highly recommend! Thank you!

I cannot recommend this place more highly. Virginia was great at explaining things and we got the privacy we wanted. The house is so comfortable and has everything you need. The bathroom is huge and so practical. We loved everything and will stay here again.

Amazing private bungalow on the edge of a crystal clear lagoon. We enjoyed snorkeling & kayaking & were amazed by the sea life (coral, colorful fish, rays, “baby” sharks, etc.). The lodging was Polynesian style - large windows & breezeways connecting the bedrooms & the kitchen/living area. It had a large clean relaxing saltwater pool. 3 of the rooms we used had AC. Others had fans. It was not a luxury resort - I wasn't expecting that. There were minor irritations: hot nights in the non-air conditioned bedrooms, mosquitos (mosquito netting in some of the bedrooms helped); a neighbor's friendly dog wandered into the kitchen daily; leaky roof in one bedroom. Personally, I felt the amazing location compensated. I preferred a more traditional Polynesian experience for my children rather than a luxury resort. The waterfront location with stunning mountain views and sunsets were 5+ stars. The host/owner was always friendly, responsive and helpful.

As advertised. Host is super helpful and cordial. Pool is nice for staying cool in the afternoon and evenings.

This place is a true gem in Moorea! The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful and tranquil, with stunning views of the bay and surrounding mountains, yet conveniently close to the island’s two main beaches, restaurants, and activities. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen. The terrace was a highlight, offering breathtaking views that we could enjoy at any time of day. The lush, green surroundings made the entire experience feel like a tropical paradise. The hosts were exceptional—a wonderful, happy family who were incredibly proactive, friendly, and flexible. Their excellent communication and warm hospitality made us feel completely at home. Honestly, we wish this could be our home! This was an outstanding choice, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moorea. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed this rental in a small typical Polynesian bungalow in the middle of a lush garden very well maintained and facing the ocean where we were able to observe whales. Thank you Rémi for your hosting and availability. I highly recommend this place for those who love calm nature and sunrises.

Great place to stay!! Stunning view!

We had a wonderful time at Taina’s bungalow. We spent most of the time on the fabulous deck lounging, reading and eating - one of us even slept out there! The beach across the street was one of our favorites on the island - always great for boogie boarding or a swim. The house has the basics - it is a beach bungalow and we kept the windows and sliding door open most of the time so bugs and critters are regular visitors, as is moisture/mildew. Not a reflection on the cleanliness of the house, just of island living, which is why I rated the cleanliness at 4 - so that you aren’t expecting a pristinely clean environment. We were visiting from California and stayed almost a month here - Tiana was a great host, helping us check in early, find things we needed and even got boogie boards for us to use. Great location - quiet but not too far from the nearest grocery store.

We had a great month in the bungalow. Hélène and Laurent are very responsive, available, and full of good advice for the steps/recommendations necessary for arrival and during the stay. Many thanks to them! The bungalow is very well equipped with all the essentials for a great stay. It is also located in a beautiful and very quiet area in the heights of Punaauia with stunning views of Moorea. In short, it's ideal if you come to discover Tahiti.
