The house has everything you need, a kitchen, a bedroom with a large bed, a workplace, fast Internet, air conditioning, a beautiful backyard. The hosts treated us to local food, it was very tasty. This is a great option for a long stay.

The photos fully match reality, which was a pleasant surprise. It's only a 5-minute ride on a scooter to the center and the beach — the location is excellent. The only small downside is the lack of a full kitchen, as there’s just a stove and a sink on the balcony, but it's enough for simple breakfasts and dinners. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this place!"

Beautiful big villa just outside Galle fort. 5 mins by tuktuk. Spacious bedrooms and a large pool. Excellent food too. We were very well looked after. The house is on a quiet street with not much within walking distance so need to tuktuk everywhere.

We had an incredible stay at Dilan’s place in Sri Lanka! Traveling as two families, the pool quickly became a daily highlight for both kids and adults—it was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with plenty of amenities that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Safety was never a concern, and the location was convenient, with many great restaurants nearby. What truly set this experience apart was Dilan’s outstanding hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering helpful recommendations and always being available when we had questions. It felt like we were genuinely cared for throughout our stay. A special highlight was the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by Dilan’s family—it was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We had a wonderful stay at Cecilia’s place. The house is just as described, literally right on the beach with the picturesque Indian Ocean right at the back door of the house. We were well looked after by Sasha and Praboth and had delicious meals. Would definitely stay again.

This place is even better than the photos! We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect! Shaun arranged the transfers, advised on excursions and we had the best time. The airbnb itself is in an amazing location with lots of walkable cafes and restaurants nearby. You also only have to walk across the road to be on the beach! The inside was super clean, well kept and all round 10/10. If you are thinking of booking this place with Shaun do it, he's super kind and really helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will be back for longer next time✨

We had wonderful 11 nights at this place. We wanted to feel like at our home, feel how locals live and that"s the what we've got. There is no AC (as advertised in the ad), but it was not a problem. The fan above the bed does it's work perfectly. The open kitchen is amazing and you can make what ever you want. There is everything, including the blender (which is significant, considering the abundance of fresh tropical fruits everywhere). There was almost no mosqitoes in beautiful garden. Also, lot of local animals and a pretty friendly monkey. There were some shortages of water, but it was not a serious problem. Raju was a great host and we will surely come again.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was great, very short walk to coconut hill and about 15 mins to mirissa beach. The balcony was really nice to relax on, we enjoyed our breakfast there which was provided for free and very tasty. Ruwan really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and even dropped us to a restaurant that we wanted to go to free of charge. Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend ⭐️

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

Our stay at Pramod's place with my family was fantastic! He is truly an incredible host, always attentive to our needs and ready to help with anything we required. His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. An instance that stands out is when our motorcycle ran out of gas; the host's wife helped us find enough fuel to reach the nearest station, showcasing their readiness to assist in any situation. The property was well-maintained, and every detail seemed carefully considered to ensure guests' comfort. Despite the excellent condition of the accommodation and the host's hospitality, we experienced some issues with an unstable internet connection, which was the only downside of our stay. Amazing apartment! So close to galle so easy to go for dinner. Nice restaurant/ beach club within walking distance. Aircon was a lovely. plus restaurant was a nice addition for easy lunches/ dinner!

Ananda and Malika are very lovely, kind and warm hosts. They were very generous and offered me several times some of the delicious food Malika had cooked. The Airbnb was excellent and spotlessly clean. Large and comfortable bed and plenty of space inside and outside under the protected verandah. Probably the best wifi I had in three months all over Sri Lanka. The little shop they have is very handy. Quiet and peaceful location and private. Highly recommended!

I stayed in the guest cottage on a lovely private (gated) property full of jungly trees, birds, and monkeys! Eva has built a paradise. It was wonderful to walk down to yoga a few times. Overall it's exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet (except for all the bird chatter, but that was lovely). Also the staff are so lovely and helpful and smiling. Just a reminder that there's no AC, and you are in the jungle so be obsessively clean in the kitchen (hello ants) and don't let the little lizards scare you. I named one Fred. :). If the wifi doesn't work, just find the wifi repeater and ensure it's plugged in, and ta da, the signal perks right up. Highly recommend.

There are all the dishes in the kitchen, coffee maker, good fridge, toaster and microwave, there is a cooler, drinking water can be bought in a large bottle on the ground floor Perfectly clean rooms, all surfaces are dust-free. Weekly cleaning deserves a separate description - so thorough and accurate. The host of the apartment gives very detailed clear check-in instructions and is always available, goes to a meeting for all questions. The complex has a swimming pool(110 cm deep) and a good basic gym. We stayed here for 1 week and ended up extending our stay for a month.

The house was very cozy, with everything you need to feel at home. The location is excellent, it is very close to very cool places and a few minutes by scooter from good beaches. Everything was perfect. :)
