Nice host with warm welcome. Very responsive and helpful. Clean and tidy house. Private and quiet surroundings. Easy to check-in and check-out.

We had a wonderful time in Atashika. Hisashi was such a warm and lovely host-- always available but also left us our privacy. Our time in the village was just perfect. Ocean, mountains, beach, kind people, peace! (We traveled with our toddler and teenager and both were very happy!)

We integrated the space on our own. When we launched a washing machine we encountered a small problem, but our host arrived within 5 minutes to help us! Thank you so much how efficient 😊

This is such a beautiful home. Would have loved to spend more time here. Beautiful view of the sea and mountains. The host was extremely helpful and considerate. Everything we needed in a home was provided for including pasta, rice, sauces, cup noodles. All these came in very handy as we arrived on Sunday, tired from a long trek and there were no restaurants open. Tea was provided from which we could brew hot tea, great after a long walk in the rain. Host was very responsive and friendly. Staying at this guest house is one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone considering a quiet getaway in rural Japan.

We had such a lovely stay at Saori’s Airbnb. It is located in a small town, surrounded by hills and the ocean. I can imagine in summer the nearby beaches would be wonderful for swimming. We had rented a car so it was easy to get around, but we spent most of the time at the house enjoying the view! The Airbnb has excellent heating, comfy beds, and is in a charming old house. It has a big bathtub, a small fridge and good WiFi so I could work remotely. It is an authentic stay! What made the stay special however, was Saori’s hospitality. We had two dinners, plus a breakfast for a very reasonable price which were fantastic. Saori speaks excellent English. She and her family made us feel so welcome in Japan. We hope to come back one day :)

We used it with 5 families and 23 people. It was large enough for 23 people to spare the room. There were many children, and they responded to preschool children, so I decided. It was very spacious and the children had a fun time running around all the time. I heard that I can camp and play in the river in the summer, so I'd love to stay again for the summer vacation.

The host is really nice and friendly. The view is very nice. The house is well equipped. Suitable for family with young child.

We spend a week here and had a really nice time. The house is spacious and in a beautiful, peaceful location near a forest and creek. We felt very comfortable. Our host was super friendly and forthcoming, giving us lots of great recommendations and even helping us with a reservation at a local restaurant. We’d definitely stay here again :)
