Family-friendly holiday rentals in Taos

Jean & Stephen's box car is not only beautiful, but cozy and welcoming. The weather during our stay was very cold and being able to relax in such an amazing space with access to their hot tub made the trip wonderful! I travel alot for work and needed a relaxing getaway and this hit the spot! Slept amazing, felt safe and right at home. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful house making for a beautiful stay. We loved it all -- the art, the gardens, the hot tub, the friendly neighborhood cats wandering by, the rooftop sunsets, and above all the mountains. The kitchen was especially a joy to use. Marcia gave us all the information we could have asked for, and her advice was always worth having. A great stay and a great hostess!

The windows provide a stunning view of the ski village. Everything was as described and shown in the photos. Beautiful condo and location. Just keep in mind there is a full flight of stairs that you have to carry luggage up. No elevators.

We had an incredible stay at Thomas' home in Taos! While the lack of snow meant less skiing, the experience was still amazing thanks to the cozy wood-burning fires, the relaxing private hot tub, and the stunning Southwest landscapes surrounding the property. Thomas provided fantastic activity suggestions that made our trip memorable. His home was perfectly set up for a large group, and everyone appreciated having a bed to themselves. The location was ideal, offering both privacy and easy access to everything we needed. Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable getaway—would absolutely stay here again!

As always we loved staying at Tammi and Dave’s place. Beautiful location with breathtaking views. Tammi is always responsive and gives the most helpful tips. Will be back for sure!

we had a great few days at India's. The place was just as expected. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the hot tub only because we ran out of time. Arroyo Seco is a 2 min drive and has wonderful restaurants and shops. We spent more time there than in Taos, which was unexpected. I would recommend this property.

Great stay, really nice home with historic character. Very clean and exactly as described. Check in/check out was easy with clear instructions. WiFi was solid - we got speeds of 80 mbps, which was good for streaming video and remote work. The laundry facilities were also very convenient in an adjoining shared space with detergent sheets provided.

This is an absolutely charming and clean Airbnb in a gorgeous location near Taos and Taos Ski Valley. We stayed here for almost 2 weeks and even had a friend and his daughter who flew in to join us to ski for three days during our trip. Our hosts didn’t charge us extra for our friends and told us how we could set up extra beds to accommodate them. We did so before they arrived and they were delighted with the arrangements just like we were. This house is perfect to split between two parties because the upstairs and kitchen has its own bathroom and shower as does the downstairs, with a door separating them if desired for privacy. This is a unique and extremely useful aspect about the arrangement of the house that we loved and appreciated. Even if it is just a single family like we were most of the time, it’s great to have all that extra space and two bathrooms. The place is very dog friendly and our girl enjoyed the surroundings and the house as much as we did!

This was our second time staying at Kirstin’s house. It is incredibly clean, in a great location with easy access to both downtown and the ski Valley. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. We will definitely keep coming back.

I can't recommend Vivien's place highly enough! It is in a very peaceful neighborhood, just north of Taos town...the views of the mountains are spectacular. Watching the bountiful nature outside the huge front window, while drinking our morning coffee was a perfect way to star the day. The location was perfect for us...only a 25 minute drive to Taos ski valley, and about 10 minutes to town. There was no shortage of good restaurants within a short drive. I especially recommend Medley, just at the end of the street. Vivien was an amazing host. She was super responsive, always with great recommendations. The grounds are so charming and unique, such a feast for the eyes. Do yourself a favor, and stay at Vivien's!

Two night stay, great location to Taos ski valley and into town of Taos. Great stay, absolutely recommend!

We absolutely loved staying in Dianne’s place! We were greeted with fresh cookies and a bottle of wine and that was such a nice touch after a long travel day! Everything was just perfect and the house couldn’t have been in a better location. We truly enjoyed it and don’t have one negative thing to say this is a great place to stay if you come to red River!!!! Highly recommend! Thank you Diane!

I visited from Chicago for a a fairly long stay (~12 days), and it was a great experience! The living space was very cozy and had a very usable kitchen. The views of the mountains during the morning and evening were pretty great, and the location was far enough away from people to remain quiet while still being close enough to grab groceries on a whim. Plenty of outdoor activities to do in the nearby area.

Cheryl’s place is very cozy for our family of three. I love the attention to detail she put into her lovely place. The location is great for skiing at Taos Ski Valley. Cheryl is clearly an outstanding host. She was very responsive and gave clear and detailed instructions. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

The condo is in a great location that doesn’t get too busy and includes several amenities. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

We has a wonderful time in the mountains With our family. We haven’t spent time together since the pandemic. We wanted Peace & quite with plenty of room for the grandkids to run around . My husband has Back issues so steps where not an option For him. This house had everything to make us all comfortable!

We will only stay at WorldMart when we visit Red River. We really don't care who the host is, it's right next to the lift. So much wildlife to see, overall it's beautiful inside and outside. I would only recommend updating the coffee pot and updating to Dish or a streaming network. Basic cable was a good wake up call took us back. We enjoyed the cable, kid did not.

We’ve stayed here several years in a row over Thanksgiving. It’s a great location-between Downtown Taos and Arroyo Seco (lots of good dining options there!). The property is exactly as described and Monica is always incredibly helpful and responsive. The property is also VERY well stocked. We were never lacking anything in the kitchen or bathrooms.

Super cute Casita in the perfect location for a ski get away and to explore the surrounding area. Everything you need for a comfortable couple’s getaway. The hot tub is great, location better.

The place was beautiful but not toddler friendly. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook or grill. Loved the heated floors, that was my favorite. Was close to ski and to town. Over all was a great place and vacation.

Beautiful location! Very close to sky lifts and the pond for the residents is stocked with rainbow trout! The condo is right off of Main Street and walking distance to multiple delicious restaurants and gift stores! Would definitely stay again!
