Walk to Water: Cozy Eagle Mountain Lake Home

Host timely with communication, home pristine clean, great location, felt very safe, nice quiet neighborhood. We spent a lot of time out on the deck which had a lovely view/access to Shady Grove Park with a cemented walkway/path down to the lake. My sister and I walked every morning along with the locals. We also were able to watch deer feed a.m. and dusk. We had a relative who lived in Azle, approx 12-15 minutes away. We would have liked to be closer to a store/mall so we would not be dependent, but it worked out, we used Lyft a couple times to his place and to the airport. The home was well stocked in the kitchen, very neat, clean, and we would highly recommend it again to ourselves or relatives visiting Texas. The living room large tv was fantastic, great internet access. My relatives were all very impressed with the home and location.

Loved our stay! 10 women for a low-key, relaxing bachelorette party. The house was exactly what we needed and the backyard & view were even better than the pictures. House was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Waterfront Escape on Eagle Mountain Lake

Chris and Kim were fantastic from the start (greeted with drinks, smorgasbord of meats, cheeses and olives as well as home made pico de gallo) to the end (extending our checkout and helping book shooting range) and even took us to dinner on the other side of the lake in their boat. Their house is beautiful and in a stunning location. We really cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience. Great place, great people , great stay.

We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the house but enough to feel as our own place. The house was very clean and had all the amenities, towels, soap, shampoo, etc almost as if you were at your own home. The beds were comfortable to sleep in with SOFT sheets!! Especially after being out with our families we were visiting. Coffee was also there, not sure if it was left over or provided but a huge plus(keurig machine). The host was very receptive and responded quickly.

Shoreline Sanctuary was the perfect house for our family Christmas gathering! The house was clean, bright and airy, and was so well equipped with everything we needed. Beautifully decorated too, with plenty of seating areas. We enjoyed the lake view, made good use of the large well equipped kitchen, and had lots of fun playing ping-pong. The host was a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend Shoreline Sanctuary!

Cabin on the Lake

We just spent a week here and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were told the water level was 9 ft at the boat dock so we could tie our boat up but after arriving it was only about 3.5 to 4 ft deep so we had to rent a slip at the west bay marina to keep our boat at the whole week which was an added expense we weren’t expecting. The house was really cozy and we loved the extra master suite separated from the main house. I wish they had left out more trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels for us though knowing we had a large group so I had to provide extras and the dishwasher tablets as well. Overall, the house was great and we made it work and we all had a great time and made lots of new memories and that’s what matters most 😁

The perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Oscar was amazing, was willing to work with me on adjusting the check in time, was friendly, but not overly friendly. if I'm ever in that area again, this is the only place I want to stay.

This was the perfect family weekend trip! EVERYTHING is fantastic from the home to the lake access. Easy access, VERY clean. There is virtually no internet, and it was not storming the first day. I think that should be clearly and visibly advertised, almost obnoxiously advertised. However that did not affect our trip and I still rate this 5-stars and one of the best lake houses we’ve ever stayed at! I would recommend this home to anyone in the area or staying in the area.

We didn’t get to stay as long as we intended but for the time that we did stay it was suitable and valuable for what it was. The pictures are a great assessment of the area. If you’re a city or suburban person, this may not be your cup of tea but if you’re looking to be, feel and enjoy outdoors … this place is PERFECT!

amazing host, with an amazing property. it kinda isolated but a 5 minute drive and your in Azel. or about a 15 minute drive through a curvey back road with amazing scenery and you'll find yourself in Fort Worth. my family had an amazing time.

Everything was wonderful, from booking, to arrival, to check out, and the price was a steal! Oscar was an amazing host and so helpful throughout the entire process! I would absolutely recommend this place as a fun, comfortable, and convenient stay when traveling in the area!
