Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Tavira

My wife and I spent 12 days at Bert En Els’ place and it was amazing from the beginning to the end. The house is amazing, very charming, cozy, and makes you fell very welcome. It was the most clean airbnb/hotel, we’ve ever stayed. The pool, the garden, the trees, a perfect Quinta, very well located. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruits, juice, sweets, homemade bread. The hostes, Bert and Els, are a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful, always ready for the guests, always with a smile on the face. Very nice people. Ah, and Kira, the guardian of the place, is a nice and friendly dog, that is also always welcoming the guests, we miss her already. Looking forward to comeback! Eduardo & Elisa

We had an excellent stay! The breakfast is delicious and we had a nice room with a good bed. Dick is very helpful and welcoming.

I stayed in the basic room which was exactly how it was described, however I have to say, although basic, it really was comfortable and had everything I needed, warmth, light, and although as stated small, it felt airy and roomy. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were so amazing I did want to leave my luggage and take one home (I didn't), but I slept very well. Rozaleen and Gino were very welcoming and Rozaleen's kindness was invaluable to me as a solo traveler. The breakfast was as previous reviews had stated, incredible, fresh and plentiful, so much love was clearly shared through the breakfast. The shower was very enjoyable and powerful. It is somewhere that I would immediately return to if I go back to Olhao for sure largely because of the lovely welcome and home from home feel. Thanks Rozaleen and Gino x

Second time we chose this accommodation. We like the location, organization and concept! Cláudia is a wonderful host, with a huge empathy with customers. Great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit! Great breakfasts, made with fresh, local and homemade produce. Cláudia had special attention for me when serving me a delicious breakfast with glutenfree and lactose-free products. Thank you for your affection:)

We loved the stay, we were very well received. The space is beautiful and the photos don't even do justice to how beautiful the space is. The calm you feel there is exceptional.

We had a fantastic time, the room was great, the garden incl. The pool is fantastically beautiful and invites you to linger. The breakfast was super delicious, the hosts very nice and helpful and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely come back and look forward to it!

I read the partly negative reviews and explained them to me by being a commercial. Hostel operation. If you stay with Marc, you get an authentic insight into island life and not a 5-star hotel. He is hospitable and very committed to the wellbeing of his guests. The room is not lockable, but it didn't seem necessary to me. I felt safe in my privacy at all times. That wasn't an issue at all. The beaches are fantastic! Day trips possible thanks to Ferry+train. So if you want to get a taste of the everyday life of island life, this is the place :) I thank Marc and Martina for the beautiful stay 🌞

The stay was an absolute dream. From the first moment, we felt right at home. Chantal and her husband are incredibly attentive and very friendly. They were always helpful and exude a pleasant aura. The place itself is a dream and worth every euro. We will definitely be back – that was certainly not our last stay at this property.

This property just makes you feel right at home. We were there for three nights & were incredibly warmly welcomed. The accommodation is surrounded by nature & consists of even the purest nature - here you can breathe, be free and just relax. We rarely have such hosts right in our hearts - like you've known each other forever. Not only was the hospitality warm - breakfast was the best in our whole vacation & made with so much love. We can recommend the accommodation to everyone if you just want to switch off & is still flexible with a rental car to see the Algarve & the nearby cities. We will definitely be back! 🙏🏻

My partner and I had the most wonderful couple of nights at Casa Brava! Marco and Julie greeted us on arrival and made us feel right at home. The suite was beautifully decorated (and had everything we needed) and the grounds of the property were amazing - in particular the natural pool. Breakfast was also a highlight! We wished we could stay longer and will hopefully be back again!

Estelle and Carlos were very attentive and great hosts. They fulfilled every wish and were very accommodating. The house is modernly decorated and feels very comfortable and welcoming. We can recommend the place 100%.

Wow! We had the most amazing stay here. The house, grounds and surroundings are absolutely stunning. The house is very modern with clean lines, everything you need but no clutter, stylishly decorated/furnished, sparkingly clean and very well-kept. Breakfast (which is delicious) is served 8-10am outside by the pool, where there are also multiple lounging areas (so even if there are other guests everyone has their own space). Light lunches/dinners/tapas/drinks are also available. This is a very tranquil and relaxing place. Chantal and Wim are brilliant hosts - warm, welcoming and generous, very attentive. Great walking/biking in the area, though you will definitely need a car too. Overall, absolutely superb, cannot recommend highly enough!

Philippe's place is a bit away from the touristy mainstream not far from Loulé. We stayed at his beautiful and very stylish furnished bungalow. It is a great place also for day trips to the coast but you can also spend your time at the pool or your own veranda. The communication was excellent and Philippe answered within a few minutes to our messages. All in all I can say: Perfect location, perfect host and a great stay guaranteed. Thank you again for the great time. We will come back for sure.

A wonderful find in a quiet little village. So clean, really comfy bed and the pool area is lovely. Plus the owner/staff were so friendly and made a fabulous breakfast!

This Airbnb was a great experience for us. The room wasn't large but it was immaculately clean and comfortable. The two ladies who took care of us, helped us with directions and advice and made us breakfast in the bright and lovely dining room - Patricia and Marta - were absolutely wonderful. They treated us with such kindness and care, we felt like long lost family. We won't forget them! It's a really lovely place in every way. Highly recommend!

Rob and Peter are extremely friendly and helpful hosts. We were warmly welcomed and spent 12 wonderful vacation days here. The daily breakfast was prepared very lovingly and varied. It was very nice to be served ;) Our room was very tastefully decorated and was cleaned daily. In our opinion, a car is recommended to explore the surrounding area. Rob is happy to give tips on excursions and restaurant visits. We can fully recommend the place and would definitely visit again.

We were thrilled with the breakfasts, we loved the environment and the calm offered in this home. When we came we were afraid that the accommodation was divided into several apartments and therefore we would be in contact with neighbors on the ground floor, we were surprised that the neighbors were very quiet, respectful, each in their own corner… to be repeated. Great private location. Very good breakfast. Good comfortable beds and cosy typical Portuguese rooms. Very nice hosts. Overall a great place to stay.

Full recommendation :) Everything was perfectly prepared. Peter is a super friendly, accommodating and discreet host. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast and sunsets on the great terrace. You can park right in front of the house and we were allowed to park our bikes in an enclosed yard. A great place!
