Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Taylor County

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and were more than happy with our accommodations. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was amazingly stocked too! The only thing I needed that I couldn’t access was a measuring cup larger than 1 1/2 cups :) But we made that work no problem. The kitchen even had an electric mixer and crockpot! I was so relieved with how easy it was to cook for our family. I would rent this unit again over and over.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place! The location was very peaceful, but convenient to the local restaurants and shops. Michael’s house was just as described and had everything we needed for our quick visit. I appreciated the little things, like shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and especially the K-cups, as I forgot to bring mine. He provided a list of local restaurants, which was very helpful when we arrived hungry on our first night and was overall very friendly and communicative. Thanks again, Michael. We’d love to come back and visit longer!

Very clean and charming house. Crystal had great communication. We found the upstairs bedroom to be a little warm but the night was cool so we just opened the windows. Maybe we didn’t use the AC correctly? It might have been our fault. Otherwise, we had a great stay. The house was well appointed and there was enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate three couples and a few kids. Everyone could spread out and have their own space.

This is a true RIVER house. the location was breath taking. Our family of 6 reunion had a great time cooking the scallops we plucked up earlier that day on our boati.g excursion! Also ate out twice at local seafood restaurants. All very charming. This home seems to be also used by the owners folks when not rented out and therefore it felt like visiting a family's home who were gracious hosts. A fine match for our family. we'll stocked for all needs. We hope to return to kyack next time when not scalloping season. Thank you Jolene for your responsiveness to all things.

Totally enjoyed our time at this location. The house was great, super nice location in town, fun places to go and very relaxing. Would happily return to another delightful getaway.

Kay’s place was perfect. Roomy, clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. She was quick to respond with a question or two, and was generous with incidentals that aren’t often included. The Peaceful Mermaid Cottage was a welcome site after a long day of scalloping. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay! The place had everything we needed and was cute and tidy. We weren’t sure where to park at first so a labeled parking spot would be a nice improvement. Would stay here again!
